Hey!

Welcome to my Ryze build ;)

Quick info: As you may know, Ryze abilities, also scales with Mana. So my item build, is based on Ap, mana regen, mana. ;)

Well.. Enjoy :)

Runes

In my rune build i focus on ability power, and mana, and mana-regen! :)

For marks, i buy 9 because it gives me AP..

greater seal of replenishmentFor seals i buy 9 greater seal of replenishment because it gives me mana regen, so i dont have to leave my lane for mana. ;)

For glyphs i buy 9 because it gives me ability power per level. :)

For quintessences i buy 3 because it gives me a bunch of mana ;)

Summoner Spells

i always pick Heal, because its very usefull, when you are about to die in a 1v1 fight, and you can help you teammates by healing them, in several situations ;)

i always pick Flash because, it gives me good survivability ;)

Abilities

Passive: When Ryze casts a spell, all other spells have their cooldown reduced by 1 second.

Q: (Passive): Ryze gains 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 % cooldown reduction.

(Active): Ryze throws a charge of pure energy at an enemy unit, dealing 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+40% of ability power) magic damage plus additional damage equal to 6.5% of Ryze's maximum mana.

W: Ryze traps an enemy unit, preventing them from moving for .75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 second(s) and dealing 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+60% of ability power) magic damage plus 4.5% of Ryze's maximum mana.

E: Ryze unleashes a bouncing orb of magical power which bounces to enemy units or himself, up to 5 times (for a total of 6 hits). Each bounce deals 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 (+35% of ability power) (+1% of maximum mana) magic damage and reduces the target's Magic Resistance by 12 / 15 / 18 / 21 / 24. Prioritizes enemy champions.

R(ULTIMATE): Active: Ryze becomes supercharged for 5 / 6 / 7 seconds, gaining 15 / 20 / 25 % spell vamp, causing his spells to deal 50% AoE damage, and granting him 35/45/55 movement speed.

You have 2 different choices here

with 2 s is a great way to start, since the nerf, i find it effective to start off with !

is a great choice. It gives you AP, Health, and mana regen, which fits perfect for ;). I dont find it very effective to stack s because i personally think, you can spend the money to something good. ;)

"Must Have" items!

is a "must have" item! It gives you mana, and AP, which fits PERFECT for :)

is definitly a "must have" because it gives you a bunch of AP, and a lot of mana! :)

when fighting against high DPS champs

This is a very good item, when fighting against high DPS champs like and , because it gives you alot of armor, and a bunch of mana!

When fighting against a fed AP champ

is the perfect item when playing against a fed ap champ ;p. Its passive is also really good!

is a also a very good item, when playing against a fed ap champ. Its active is just awesome! It blocks an enemy spell.
