LoL Summoner Spell: Ghost

Ghost

Introduction

This is my first build. The character presented in this build is Ryze. This build can be absolutely lethal late-game since Ryze is almost unstoppable 1 v 1. Don't give feedback until you try out the build first and be sure to leave comments so that I can modify and make this build the best that it can be.

PROS:
*Best 1 v 1 champion
*Can totally influence the flow of the game if used correctly
*Ability to snare targets

CONS:
*Very squishy champion
*Useless if there are any status changes such as: Silenced, Feared, or Stunned
*Always first targeted in ganks

Item Build

- For each of these items, you don't have to buy the full item. You should, however, purchase the lower tier items and craft the higher tier items.

*Doran's Ring - Choose Doran's Ring from the beginning for the early AP boost and the Mana Regen. This is a good item to start with.
*Health Potion - Very self explanatory
*Sorcerer's Shoes - You could start with the standard boots of speed if it is more convenient for you. The Sorcerer's Shoes are great because of the magic resistance penetration.
*Mejai's Soulstealer - By far the most important part of the build because as you get kills / assists, you get stacks that add to your ability power capping at 20 stack, for each stack you gain 8 AP per stack. So, if soulstealer is totally maxed out you would have 180 AP boost!
*Archangel's Staff - Another extremely important item. It grants you 45 Ability Power, 400 Mana, and 25 Mana Per 5 Sec. The passive ability takes 3% of your max mana and converts it to Ability Power. The other passive ability is that each time your Champion uses an Ability their Maximum Mana will increase by 4 Mana. This effect has a 3 second cooldown. Bonus caps at 1000 mana. So this could net a very large AP boost.
*Rabadon's Deathcap - Grants you a 155 AP boost. It also increases your total AP by 30%. This item is by far one of the most significant items included in the build. It gives the greatest AP boost.
*Rylai's Crystal Scepter - This item gives a significant boost to AP as well as its passive ability can be lethal. It grants an AP boost of 80 points and a 500 HP boost. The passive ability is when any spell is cast, it slows the target by 30% for 2 seconds. This could be insanely powerful when it comes to taking on a champion 1 v 1.
*Lich Bane - Lich Bane is an extremely useful item as well. It grants you 80 Ability Power, 350 Mana, 30 Magic Resist, and 7 Movement Speed. It gives a lethal passive ability that grants an 100% chance when an ability is used that your next physical attack deals an additional 100% of your Ability Power in damage. This is lethal because the AP of Ryze gets sky high at the end of games making your physical attacks deal a ton of damage after a magic attack.

*If you aren't playing so well early, skip on the Mejai's Soulstealer, and work for a Deathfire Grasp

*Deathfire Grasp - Grants you 60 Ability Power and 10 Mana Regen Per 5 Sec. The active effects reduce ability cooldowns by 15% and deal magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power) with a miminum of 200 damage.

Summoner Spells

RECOMMENDED:
*Exhaust - I recommend exhaust the most because with the Masteries chosen, Exhaust weakens the enemies magic resistance.
*Ghost - for an easy getaway after if you don't kill an enemy champion 1 v 1
*Teleport - easy access to a turret that is close to being destroyed or for support for teammates.
*Clarity - you could get clarity for early game mana restoration. Not really needed because later in the game you have enough mana to last a lifetime.
*Cleanse - a status affected Ryze is a useless Ryze.

WHAT NOT TO GET:
*Clairvoyance - There is really no need to see everyone on the map
*Flash - Flash can be used as a spell to get away but it is not really crucial to have
*Fortify - Ryze is enough fortification for any turret
*Heal - Heal can go either way. I personally would rather not use heal.
*Ignite - Ignite would be useless for Ryze, because Ryze is pretty much a cannon.
*Promote - Ryze doesn't really need any extra help from minions.
*Rally - This could be useful if you are running around with teammates, but if you are with the teammates you ARE their firepower.
*Revive - in my eyes, revive is only useful for one person per team, and usually this person should be a tank that could defend the base late game if the whole team were to die. Ryze should not use this.
*Smite - Should be used by a jungling champion. Ryze does NOT jungle.

Early Game

For early game, I recommend soloing mid or pairing yourself with a tank that can protect you. If you work with a tank the combo can be absolutely lethal, getting you kill after kill. If you solo mid buy the Health Potion / Mana Potion since Ryze is very squishy and drains mana fast. You should be able to take most champions 1 v 1 early game with a Rune Prison --> Desperate Power --> Spell Flux --> Overload Combo. Once you get a kill if you're mid, you can easily wander down to the top or bot and help gank for more kill feeding. If there are no minions nearby run up close to the target before to maximize the usage of Spell Flux.

The Spell Combo:
1.Rune Prison - Stuns them in place dealing damage.
2.Desperate Power - Boosts spells and casts AoE damage.
3.Spell Flux - Hit the tartet 3 times if possible.
4.Overload - Should finish the target if Spell Flux does not.

Mid Game

This mid game strategy is pretty much similar to the Early Game. I'll add more later as I get feedback and play more.

Depending on the order of items you buy, you can use this guide as to the order of spells to cast.

Mid Game Combo: (WITHOUT LICH BANE)
1.Rune Prison - Stuns them in place dealing damage.
2.Desperate Power - Boosts spells and casts AoE damage.
3.Spell Flux - Hit the tartet 3 times if possible.
4.Overload - Should finish the target if Spell Flux does not.
5. Rinse and repeat if the target happens to survive this barrage of death

Mid Game Combo: (WITH LICH BANE)
1.Rune Prison - Stuns them in place dealing damage.
2.Desperate Power - Boosts spells and casts AoE damage.
3.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
4.Spell Flux - Hit the tartet 3 times if possible.
5.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
6.Overload - Should finish the target if Spell Flux does not.
7.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
8. Rinse and repeat if the target happens to survive this barrage of death

Late Game

Late Game is the most fun stage with Ryze. If you run around in a big group you will basically farm the kills off the group and be the most targeted. You will want to be careful in this stage of the game because Ryze is just about made of glass. During this stage you can dominate any champion 1 v 1 as long as you are smart. Utilize the combo described in the early game section and you should be able to carry the game.

Late Game Combo:
1.Rune Prison - Stuns them in place dealing damage.
2.Desperate Power - Boosts spells and casts AoE damage.
3.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
4.Spell Flux - Hit the tartet 3 times if possible.
5.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
6.Overload - Should finish the target if Spell Flux does not.
7.Lich Bane - Auto-attack
8. Rinse and repeat if the target happens to survive this barrage of death
