I don't play ryze so i cant for sure verify the mechanics and how well this works but it seems well thought out and well written. For instance build a Locket of the Iron Solari if your team is low on health or if the opposing team just rapes you. Or alternatively get a Randuins Omen if you feel like you dont tank well enough. I think it's better that Archangel's Staff because your spells will deal bonus damage based on current mana.. Also, Sunfire Cape is not that good on Ryze since you will be attacking from distance.. Consider some AP/HP or mana/HP item, like Ohmwrecker or Banshee's Veil.. Anyway, +1.
