I've chosen to max my Q first because it gives more options to poke and it benefits you more when you hit lvl 6. After that I prefer to max my heal (E) rather than my Trap because it can save your life when fighting and because of the attack speed buff.

I've found that this build really works out especially when facing melee bruisers e.g. Riven or Olaf.
I tend to rush Spirit of the Lizard Elder early because it means I can poke and harass the enemy out of the lane just with my auto attacks.
I play very passively until I hit level 6, because it is at this point that you can easily 1v1 the enemy bruiser.
Some people might argue that this is really easy to shut down, but I disagree. I feel that the only counters to this build are ranged AP bruisers and mages e.g. Elise. Any assassin e.g. Akali or Kha'zix will easily be shut down by this.
I always win my lane with this build.
