So if you saw the title then you are probably wondering why Kayle is so broken in season 3. Well its because of the new items, and Kayle loves items. The main item that causes Kayle to be so broken is Liandrys Torment. Kayle's 2 offensive abilities make this Item particularly painful to not just a single target, but entire teams within the splash zone. We combine the 2.5% over time of this with the flat 4% of Blade of the Ruined King and thats 6.5% of the enemies current HP, however if movement is impaired then LT does x2 damage going for 5% of current HP, for a max of 9% current HP burned.

Kayle's E is considered a "spell" each time she auto attacks and so is the splash damage, its like casting a spell as fast as your attack speed allows. If you have Rylai's or Iceborn Gauntlet then your E will deal splash with slow...imparing movement. this means that anyone hit by the spell will take 5% of their current HP. Now remember that Kayle's Q raises Damage up to 10% and with masteries that can go to 17% when an enemy is below 50% HP. SO on a single target 1 auto attack will do torturous damage. With her E Liandrys Torment becomes an on-hit effect and auto attacking is like casting repeatedly.... This is so broken so why not abuse it :D You can Kill pretty much any champ who has not gotten magic resist and even then there is Kayle's passive and penetration from items, masteries and runes. Her E can now do percent based magic damage to multiple foes over and over, not to mention the fact she can go invincible for up to 3 seconds. This 1 item has made Kayle into a fearsome monster.
