One thing is for sure, Katarina's Death Lotus can hit you even if you're inside Twilight Shroud, she was my main Champion before I switched to Akali, When we were fighting in 1v1 she's about to die and uses Shroud my Lotus is on CD and became Active I hit R spins and she dies.

Yeap, Twilight Shroud does give you magic resist to lower the damage dealt from Death Lotus, after Katarina Channels Death Lotus, she cant do much then, thus it would be an easy kill.

Overall I like the guide, looks fairly solid. I go over it again completely when it's not 4 am. I'd like to see Cho'Gath added to the matchups as well. He's my personal anti-akali champion.

Thank you so much for reading and voting! On the Twisted Fate part, I totally forgot that he does out range Akali. I think I should take note of that and redo it. Thanks for the advice as well!

An upvote from me! Extremely detailed guide and very well coded!

A thing.. Twisted Fate is most definitely not EASY. He outranges you, if you walk to throw a mark of the assasin, he can gold card your ***, and hit you with Wild Cards and/or Stacked Deck you. I'd consider re-doing that part. I'd do medium at least.

Haha no problem. Not many people do. His rather misunderstood and uderplayed these days which is sad. If you want help with BBcoding let me know. Just send me a PM and I can show you a lot of really nice BBcoding you can do to get your guide looks fancy as ****.

I'd recommend also moving a bit of your guide into spoilers so that the scrolling process isn't as long for people who skim, but the info is there for those that want it.

TITLE HERE

The coding for that looks like this (note how the anchor is above top of the spoiler so that the title still shows on the screen when you click to move to the anchor):

Code:
[anchor=spoiler 1] [spoiler=TITLE HERE]Info here And here And if it gets long enough, You'll want a "Go to the top of spoiler" button So you can go back to the top and minimize it with ease [goto=spoiler 1]Go to top of spoiler[/goto] [/spoiler]

Thank you so much for reading my guide! I appreciate that. And thank you for your information on the Gragas section. I would update it to what you have mentioned. Sorry, I don't play Gragas much, haha.

Good guide. You took a lot of time to add some cool stuff! :)

While your "Match-Ups" are fairly in depth, you misguide a few of them. One such match up that is easy for me to notice is Gragas (Being that I am a Gragas player and have had my fair share of playing versus Akali).

Your Gragas counter info is off. While this has been rated "easy" I'd put him at least at "Medium." While he takes a bit of skill, if you have skill, Akali is VERY managable prelevel 6 as Gragas, and only becomes a somewhat challenging lane after level 6. Because of this, Gragas can shut her out early as she is lacking in both range damage and mobility.

You are right that Barrel Roll counters her really hard, as it does. It does more damage than her Mark of the Assassin even just with base numbers (and has a high AP ratio), and you can always kite Akali so she can't hit you for the second part of the mark pre level 6.

However, you fail to mention that Drunken Rage gives Gragas a percentage damage reduction from ALL but true damage. This means that you are telling players to jump in on a Gragas after he gains a buff that makes you do less damage, and him do more AD damage (this means more auto attack damage and more damage on Body Slam). Also, if a Gragas is going to use this spell when they're in danger, then the probably aren't level 30, let alone a smart one.

It's also important to note that Body Slam also counters Akali as it will collide with stealthed enemies. On top of this, it has a base cooldown of 7 seconds AT ALL LEVELS. This means that unless they use it in a really dumb way, and you are able to do damage for 7 full seconds, it will probably always be up when they need it if they're playing smart.

Explosive Cask is one of those spells which can really do some crazy things. I'd recommend putting in a warning about using your ultimate while this spell is up. If you dive in on a Gragas when his Explosive Cask is up, he can easily knock you 800 distance back to his tower for at least a few tower hits. After he does this he can Body Slam you to slow you under the tower, making you take more tower hits, and forcing you to run away without being able to retaliate (unless you like fighting under a tower).

Your example of Gragas Combo is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off. The combo is: Drunken Rage to reduce damage in the future - gain mana - and add more attack damage, Explosive Cask you towards him, Body Slam as you fly at him in the air so you can't dodge it, and then Barrel Roll which is super easy to land after hitting with Body Slam because you're slowed, and putting on Ignite and landing a few auto attacks to finish it up.

However if I want to do that combo and also make sure that I don't get killed by you if that combo doesn't kill you in one shot, I can simply: Drunken Rage before I go in, Body Slam to do damage and slow you, Barrel Roll, Ignite, and then Explosive Cask you away from me.

Or if trying to get away I can wait for you to dash to me, use Explosive Cask, and then Body Slam away if I need to stay safe. And seeing as how I can knock you back 800 (the range of your ult) and I can move the whole time you're flying back (another 50-100) I don't even need to Body Slam to stay safe, but I can, and you'd be 1450-1500 range away from me... on and then there's Flash.

Starting to see what I'm saying? A smart Gragas is at least "Medium" threat for Akali. I'd say "Hard" before level 6, and "Medium" afterwards.
