Other good Items on Nidalee
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Welcome to my first guide on Mobafire. I'm GoHsty, playing on the EUW Server, currently in the Platinum tier, Division V. AD Bruiser Nidalee is my main Champion/role atm and I played 150+ in Season 3 ranked SoloQ.
This guide is still WIP and it would be great if could write down your thoughts about it in the comments!
The best summoner spell in game. Good for escaping ganks or to chase down your fleeing enemy.
This summoner gives you much more kill potential. This is essential for AD Bruiser Nidalee, especially in the laning phase, where you want to get some kills.
Runes & Masteries
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Mark of Attack Damage
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Always take these, you need the attack damage especially in early game, because Nidalee's base damage is pretty low.
Greater Seal of Armor: The BEST seals in the game. Also armor is pretty good on the toplane.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: I prefer these ones over the flat mr glyphs because in most cases you are laning against an AD toplane and need the mr in lategame. For sure you can replace them with Greater Glyph of Magic Resist.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage: In my opinion it is a lot easier to last hit with the extra AD early game. If you don't like them, you could also go with Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration.
I'm not going to talk about each of the points choosen, I just want to explain a few of them.
In the offense tree I've choosen Sorcery , because cdr is pretty good on AD Bruiser Nidalee, because she is doing most of her damage with her abilities.
Executioner is very good in combination with her Takedown in cougar form. So you'll do even more damage when the enemy has low health. And Dangerous Game to avoid getting killed by ignite after you scored a kill.
Always try to start with Doran's Shield Health Potion, it's a very solid start right now. Combined with the blocking masteries, this makes you very resistent against autoattakcks.
On your first back to base your goal is to pick up a Giant's Belt to get more durability, if you have some extra gold, you can pick up Boots of Speed as well. The reason for this is, that you need tankyness and the base damage of your cougar form is enough early game, so don't pick up sheen as your first item.
After you've got Giant's Belt , your next goal is a Sheen, which inceases the damage of your q in cougar form heavily.
If you are against an AD top, rush Iceborn Gauntlet next. (In some cases, if you are behind, you can also pick up Glacial Shroud before Sheen)
Against an AP top try to get Spectre's Cowl after your Giant's Belt, or Chalice of Harmony if you need sustain. Then also try to get Iceborn Gauntlet for greater dmg output and cc (slow).
Then you should either build a fast Randuin's Omen for even more presence in teamfights with the slow, or rush Spirit Visage if you need to push your heal and you are facing a fed AP or a team with more AP Champs. Then try to get the other item ( so if you already got Spirit Visage try to finish Randuin's Omen).
If you are facing a full AD team Sunfire Cape is very strong early/mid game.
And if the enemy team heavily relies on AP dmg, try to Spirit Visage for sure and then Chalice of Harmony/ Quicksilver Sash/ Hexdrinker/ Banshee's Veil (depending on what is needed, mana reg., cc removal, Hexdrinker very effective against full AP team especially with the shield when you are low, or Banshee's against for example or ).
