Introduction

Sup. This guide was written by a Silver IV named Legitninja101. I've been playing League since Season 1, and by this time, I'll try anyone in any lane. Never really had much success until I tried Mid Thresh. I've never seen Mid Thresh ever, and hopefully I'll show others the power of him. Despite being effective, it is also very fun, and having your teammates rage at you for going a "troll pick" is funny, once you go on a killing spree, they'll shut up. ;)

Pros / Cons

Pros:
If he gets a kill early, he snowballs HARD.
He's good against most mages, if not all of them.
His E+Q combo can shred targets if you land some criticals.
Late game Thresh can 1v1 nearly anyone.
Them flays though.

Cons:
Can get shut down very easily by champions such as Akali or Heimerdinger.
Before you get your Shiv.. you suck.
..That's it.

Skill Sequence

Having your E maxed first is your main priority, your E passive is very abusable and a quick E and Q along with a few basics will normally cut your target down to half health or less after you got your Shiv. Max W last but get a point early, just in case a jungler needs to be lanterned to you for a gank.

Runes

9x AD Marks for early help with last hits and trades
9x Armor Seals in case you're against an assassin and for the jungler, also helps late game in teamfights
9x Magic Resist Glyphs for just a little MR against those pesky mages
3x AD Quints just because Thresh needs more damage before he gets his Shiv

Masteries

Basic AD and Health masteries FTW.

Spells

Flash for the clutch plays and to secure kills and avoid death
Teleport because the Thresh Prince needs his farm!

Team Work

If you manage to hook a squishy, reactivate that Q, flay then ulti, watch your team follow through and their team will be turned to dust! However if you don't have a good team, you could try to pull someone and wait for an initiation, and then let your basics fly when you have your E passive at max damage. Once your team is going in, you can pull to an enemy and flay them towards your team, quickly picking them off. (2nd option is most likely you're case.
