intro

Hi, i am silenced sword AKA toucandor, I have been playing league for 2 years now, i main zed and katarina, and I am also a pretty decent ADC as well, for some reason my teams have all been really bad, and fed like hell, so I am unfortunately still in bronze :p, but i made this guide so that you can be the best zed possible :)

why zed is a good pick

Zed is a good pick, simply because of his laning phase pressure, and ability to melt the enemy squishies in seconds, then get out, he is a very OP champ if played correctly, but if you play zed badly, its curtains for you.

lanaing phase

if you are against a non lane bully, such as gragas or a champion of similar composition, you can go very aggressive, because it is just basically free poke, But if you are against someone such as talon syndra or yasuo, just farm and poke with Q. At level 2 you typically want to harass with W->Q combo, while going for the kill if possible. At level 3 you want to use W->E wait for .5 seconds, then throw your Q, because your Shadow's E slows. You also always, always, ALWAYS, need to remember that your passive is insanely OP. Sometimes after you clear a wave you should go clear wraiths, bu clear it with your jungler first (see what i did there XD). just a general tip, at lvl 1 you should use your Q to farm.

mid-late game

your goal for the mid to late game is to be able to 1v1 anyone on the enemy team. BIG NOTE: you must have your BORK and brutalizer before you can roam. your main goal in team fights is to take out their ADC and other squishies. Keep in mind, now that zed got a mini reowrk, his ultimate's shadow is placed at the location where it was casted, so you can go hard on a target with your ult and then escape by pressing R a second time to jump to your ultimate's shadow. Also in team fights, a good tactic if they are bunched up, is to put shadow in the middle of both teams and E->Q. Zed is also a champ that was born for split pushing and backdoors due to the high escape and mobility of his W.
