Sorry man i love Poppy she is one of my favorites, but Void Staff is not a good item on her and Muramana is worse. The guide is also lacking information, images and bbcode.

Im gonna try this poppy asap. I like the pros you mentioned, cause before the patch i had a poppy like this! Since the patch, i couldnt find myself in games, always got around 5-10 deaths (ofc 10-20 kills too)...this didnt happen to me before (the number of deaths, i was able to jump into a 5v fight kill one and go away).....hopefully this helps, worth a try

I understand your point of view, but I still strongly stand by the tear. The whole reason I build poppy this way is to travel into late game, whether it be playing passive in lane up until even 16 minutes if need be. And actually poppy's q is quite spammable, with cdr boots the cooldown on her q is around 3 seconds, which is quite spammable and does not cost much mana. Obviously you can't compare it to nidalee or karthus, but i've reached max stacks at about 36 minutes, starting at around 10 or 13. As for void staff, the reason I get it is because her q damage as a whole is magic damage. Meaning the magic penentration you get from this passive applies to her entire q. The ad ratio in it is simply 100% ad, thats why i get hydra and triforce for the hybrid build, it allows better duels and stacks very well with the q.

I strongly disagree with muramana, cdr boots, and void staff.

The holy trinity on pooooopy is triforce->gunblade->GA (merc treads OR sorc shoes). If you SOMEHOW manage to get 2 more items, I recommend trying deathfire grasp or blade of the ruined king. They have amazing actives with poppy.

Getting a tear early in lane is basically throwing the lane away. Poppy's spells are NOT spammable and cost way too much mana to efficiently charge a tear. Karthus, Ryze, Urgot, Jayce, and nidalee can charge a tear, poppy cannot. Try dorans shield->bottle->boots.
