Pros / Cons

Pros

- Yasuo's dash Sweeping Blade is a nice gap closer
- When you get your Statikk Shiv, Steel Tempest and Sweeping Blade have their cooldowns lowered
- Your ultimate Last Breath attacks all enemy champions that are knocked up into the air
- You have an knock up after every two Sweeping Blade hit an enemy minion or champion
- Wind Wall blocks majority of all ranged attacks (including ranged ultimates)
- Sweeping Blade and Steel Tempest are good for clearing minion waves
- NO MANA!!!!!

Cons

- Hard to escape when ganked.
- Very hard champion to play
- Takes a while to get your knock up
- It will take a LONG time to learn how to play Yasuo properly

Runes

About the runes, I like to play Yasuo with some defensive runes just because it helps you stay alive early game. There is really no explanation for the runes… sooo yeah.

Skill Sequence

Ability Sequence

Now when your playing Yasuo you should be using you Sweeping Blade a lot as a gap closer. Now to start with the ability sequence

1. You will usually start with your Steel Tempest either on an enemy champion or minion.

2. Wait the couple seconds for your Steel Tempest cooldown then charge into the enemy using Sweeping Blade then use your Steel Tempest to do the spinning combo thing (you know what I mean}

3. After that wait for your Steel Tempest cooldown again then cast it on the enemy to knock them up and immediately use Last Breath to stun them in mid air AND deal aTON of damage.

4. Now, you have two options, if you know your going to lose the fight start to run away and cast Wind Wall in front of you so the enemy's support/ ADC can't hit you with any long range spells or ultimates (Ez and Jinx). Now if you know your going to get the kill then do the opposite and cast Wind Wall behind the enemy champion so their support can't do much.

5. The rest of the ability sequences are for chasing away or to the enemy and in this case you would use Sweeping Blade on enemy minions to chase… yeah you know where I'm getting at.

Spells

Ignite is pretty much a standard spell used by all lanes, I personally use it when I play ADC or Mid so I can kill them when their low health

I use flash with every build so I can disengage from a fight if were losing it or if I'm low health

Barrier is a common spell used by ADC's, for Yasuo it would be great because you can use it when your first shield (from your passive) is gone

I would only use exhaust as support because you can easily use Sweeping Blade or Last Breath and get close to them and slow the enemy down

Teleport is a great spell, I use it when I am playing Yasuo top because I can easily teleport to a different part of a map to either help other lanes or get a quick gank.

Core Items

The Statikk Shiv needs to be the first major item you get. The reason I say this is because the Attack Speed from the item reduces the cooldowns for Sweeping Blade and Steel Tempest. On top of that, the item gives you a lot of Critical Strike which is doubled by your passive

Infinity Edge is the second major item you need to get because it will give you around 100% Crit with your passive and runes added on. Infinity Edge also gives you some more Attack Damage so you will be hitting hard for the rest of the game
