Introduction

Hi, my name is Tryterra. Annie is my main mid-laner and I have learned quite a bit from the Challenger Annie only main "Annie Bot" so most of this stuff is pretty legit. Annie is a hardcore squishy deleter and her ultimate, an AoE stun which does a LOT of damage is very useful in teamfights.

Skill Sequence

DELETER

Q - W - R

It will destroy any squishy champion.

VS Tanks

Usually in teamfights you won't want to blow your ult on a tank, so don't use your DELETER combo. The best thing to do is to spam your Q on them to do as much damage as possible. But with Annie you want to take out their MVP before fighting any tanks using your DELETER combo. [MVP = Most Valuable Player, eg: ADCarry or Hyper Carry mid-laner.]

Early Game

Farming

You want to use your Q as much as possible to last hit minions. As when you get the killing blow with your Q it will half the cooldown and restore mana used. It does enough damage to last hit minions when they aren't really even that low. You will have to get a feel of the right moment to Q hit a minion yourself.

Dueling and Poking

Don't try to kill your enemy laner until you hit level 6 as that's when you get your full burst potential. Killing a champion pre-6 isn't impossible but it won't be easy. Poke using your Q often on them and when they get stunned if you think you have a good window you can follow up with your W and then back off.

Reacting to Teammate Ganks

When your jungler ganks you should stun with your Q and let them engage. Then ult when the enemy laner is low enough to secure the kill. You will want most of the kills in lane. If you don't have ult you can follow up with your W and hope you get the kill or just let the jungler finish them off.

Reacting to Enemy Ganks

Annie is actually really good in the fact that she can easily kill the enemy jungler when they gank your lane. If you aren't too low you can stun them and just use your DELETER combo, after the fact you can stun the enemy laner and run to safety. If its a tank jungler its best to try to kill your enemy laner and then stun the jungler to run to safety.
