Hi everyone ! I'm Lance, from the Philippines and I use the ign Alice Wonderland in Philippine server. I started in Season 2 and currently Platinum, playing top and mid most of the time.

I started playing Riven in the late Season 4 and made it on my way to Platinum and started to main her since then.

In this guide, I will show you how to become a successful Riven player.

Seal of Armor: Since most top laners are ad, Riven will need these.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Gives you more attack damage.

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction & Greater Quintessence of Cooldown Reduction: With these, Riven can get 40% cdr with The Brutalizer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Gives more attack damage.

Double-Edged Sword This guy will give you more damage.

Sorcery Gives you more cdr, with The Brutalizer and Ionian Boots of Lucidity, and the right runes, you can cap your cdr.

Butcher Helps you last hit minions.

Brute Force More attack damage.

Feast Gives you a little bit sustain.

Martial Mastery Gives more ad.

Executioner Goes well with your ult since it scales with missing hp.

Spell Weaving & Blade Weaving Gives more damages to your combos

Dangerous Game Sustain

Devastating Strikes Armor pen is good for Riven.

Havoc #21th mastery.

Block Blocks enemy AA damage.

Recovery Since Riven doesn't have any sustain, she will need this.

Unyielding Blocks damages from the enemy.

Veteran Scars More Hp

Juggernaut More hp + combined with Black Cleaver & Randuin's Omen

: Flash is the best summoner spell imo, and I always take it on any roles.

: Teleport This guy will help you teleport to clashes ex. Dragon clashes, Baron clashes and small skirmishes.

: Ignite If you feel like you don't need to roam the map and just want to win the lane, you can take this for extra damage and reduce healing for the enemy laner.

Basic Combos

Valor(E) - Ki Burst(W) : Long range stun

Valor(E) - Broken Wings(Q) : Basically a longer range Q

Valor(E) - Blade of the Exile(R) : Cancels the animation of Blade of the Exile

Tiamat - Ki Burst(W) : Casts Tiamat and Ki Burst at the same time.

Full Combos

Valor(E) - Blade of the Exile(R) - Broken Wings(Q) - Tiamat - Ki Burst(W) - Wind Slash(R)

Valor(E) - Broken Wings(Q) - Blade of the Exile(R) - Tiamat - Ki Burst(W) - Wind Slash(R)
