Rengar AP

he use to be more played in 2016 before the **** rework they did. but now with the revert.. I LOVE HIM EVEN MORE. You'll see why

Disclaimer

AP rengar is not op. If you want to climb play him AD not AP. AP rengar is also better in the toplane but I prefer playing him in the jungle. Its not a troll pick depending on their teamcomp. if they are full tank don't go ap you will be useless. Personally I just love playing him.. Its so satisfying one shotting an entire team. If you want to have fun play it!

I always go with W max, you could MAX Q first to clear faster.

Before having AP you should generally go with Enrage Q except if you are vs +2 enemies in a counter gank or something.

CORE BUILD

You should always go with that, when complete with your night harvester + Sorcerer Shoes you can pretty much one shot the ADC

Always build that early on, rabadon third Items is the best. It give you so much AP Bonus with Gathering Storm + Absolute Focus. you could also go with zhonya or banshee.

After that you can choose what you want, Void Staff 80% of the time for me. Cheap and usefull because they will build MR after seeing your dmg.

DOMINATION

You need DOMINATION with AP rengar, dont go anything else

ELECTROCUTE

It the best. It give you early burst (YOU NEED BURST TO WIN WITH AP RENGAR)

DARK HARVEST

It can be really good late game but you lack dmg early on

Always go with that, give you the stats to increase your DMG + your always jumping arround

Give you AP (+DMG) ALWAYS

ZOMBIE WARD

Give you more vision but In my opinion Eyeball Collection is better overall

RAVENOUS HUNTER

I use to choose that 100% of the time but now with

RELENTLESS HUNTER

Never really used it. I think the other two are just better for him.

ULTIMATE HUNTER

I take this the most currently. that or ravenous hunter. It will help with your presence on the map and you will have your ult much more often late game. sometimes fight don't happen in the jungle near bush. rengar without bushes is trash so you need your ult.

ABSOLUTE FOCUS

GATHERING STORM

You need those 2 runes, it give you so much more AP combine with Rabadon. You will need those to one shot almost all the time at 30min+ another path could be good for early-mid game but for late game thats the best runes.

PROS

- AOE one shot if you are feed
- People are not use to see rengar AP
- Can kil invisible target like (Vayne, teemo, ...) compare to AD Rengar
- Really good clear mid-late game

CONS

- Extremely weak against MR
- Weaker than AD rengar early on
- Not good VS Tank
