Introduction

Hey guys! This is my guide on Twitch. I really like playing Twitch because,

to be honest, he is probably the funnest adc out there. But that is only myopinion, and also, just because he is fun doesn't mean you'll do well with him without the correct information and skill. I will show you what is needed to play Twitch with utmost joy and still carry the entire team.

I began to play Twitch after I tried him once a long time ago while he was in free week, and even though we lost that game, I found a fun, new champion to play! Twitch is a great carry, and his late game will make a living hell of a game for the enemy, now,

Pros and Cons

Pros

[*] Godlike late game
[*] Stealth is very useful and sneaky ;)
[*] His taunts are amazing, especially his laugh
[*] Sewer skewers for everybody!
[*] Ult is very useful when enemies are lined up

Cons

[*] Can be mana hungry
[*] Early game isn't that good
[*] Not much escape(Q takes alot of time to go off if taken damage.)
[*] If you don't do well during early game, your late game won't be that good
[*] The auto attack sound isn't that satisfying ;(
[*] Auto attack dependent

Runes

The for your runes. Basically for defense against the enemy adc, can be switched to the if you want dominance for lategame.

The is for your damage in lane, again, it can be switched to if you want. , and are all viable choices

The is also for early game defensive purposes. I would suggest this only if you are against magic damage supports or junglers, otherwise get

The is a good choice for as champions, but the and are also viable

Masteries

Ferocity Tree

is a must get for attack damage carries, because of the attack speed bonus it grants. It is not an option, it is a must.

isn't that great of an option, because of the 2% extra recieved, but it is still worth it. You can use if you want some more sustain in lane.

is the best option out of the two, because it gives lifesteal. But you can get if you really want to go for ad, but it isn't recommended.

works extremely well with his w, since it applies a slow and is what uses to engage on enemies. Don't get the other mastery unless you are absolutely certain you can kill all of the enemy champions.

is the only option for you, since twitch doesn't really deal magic damage.

is great for attack speed adcs like for that extra damage, but warrior's bloodlust is a good option too.

Cunning Tree

is basically the best option, unless if you always need 5 more damage for cs. lets your q give you more movement speed.

gives you the most out of the options, for it gives you some mana replenishment and more sustain.

is alot better than the other mastery because [[twitch isn't really that mana hungry, and extra damage is also good for a damage carry.

I know what you're thinking, ? Why would you get that? Well, let me explain. This is a great mastery for champions like and beginners to adc, or people who are just bad at farming. For this, you get 1 gold for every cs you miss! This is good for when you are pushed up and can't afford to cs. Of course, if you are confident with cs, then go for for it is alot more resourceful when you get fed.

Items

Starting Items

Great option if you are up against weak early game champions such as , and . Don't Forget to Take 3 pots and !

is a good option for if he is up against lane bullies like or . Don't forget and !

Early Game

Best option! I would suggest getting first if you have enough gold!

Another great early game option, get this instead of if you don't have money and if they have some armor.

Only get this if behind, or you can get , this isn't recommended.

Midgame

Rush this item, damage, crit, cooldown, its got it all.

is basically the only option for because he needs the attack speed

Must have for twitch, to apply his e. The crits are a bonus.

Lifesteal Items

Great item, especially if you want that extra shield. Get this if you are having trouble staying alive.

Going for this means you get 40% cdr, but don't get it if you don't need it. The lifesteal from your e with is great.

This used to be 's core item, but since the nerf, it is no longer good. Only get this if you are having trouble with tanks.

This is the best choice if the enemy team has a zed or if you are having trouble against ap champs

Late Game

This is a great item for chasing down enemies, I would recommend this if you aren't having trouble.

Get this if you are having trouble and want some escape.

Abilities

Passive: Deadly Venom

Deadly Venom is used differently during early game and late game, but it always does what it is made for; poking the brains out of your enemies.In early game, it is used more like a combo for damage with Contaminate, but in late game it deals enough damage to become a deadly Ignite without grevious wounds. It deals crazy damage when used with Contaminate

Q: Ambush

Ambush is basically used for two things. One: for engaging unto your enemies, and two: for escaping from your enemies. When engaging, make sure your enemies don't see you using it, therefore using it inside of a brush or in their blind spots is a good idea. Use Ambush when they are attacking your tower, or when you want to go in. Ambush is a good ability to use before a fight or a gank, because the sudden stealth is like rengar's ult, and it makes them panic, allowing escape.

W: Venom Cask

Venom Cask is great for engaging and works well with all of your abilities. It is the key to starting a fight, since is applies a slow and 2 stacks of your passive. A good combo is: Q+wait+W+R+aa+aa+aa+aa+E, use E earlier if the enemy might get away before full stacks. Venom Cask is also good when kiting, because of the slow, you are able to get away and land more hits on the enemy chasing you.

E: Contaminate

There really isn't that much about Contaminate except for the fact that it is your only damaging ability, and it deals alot of damage. It works well with all of your abilities and you should use it in early game to poke down enemies. Try get some stacks on the enemy and use it. In teamfights, you should have your w and Runaan's Hurricane ready, and once you pour out your passive onto the enemy team you will be ready to press e.

R: RAT-TA-TAT-TAT

RAT-TA-TAT-TAT

Twitch's ultimate is why is he one of the best adcs for teamfights. Listen to this: He gains bonus range and ad, and his attacks become piercing bolts, meaning that it can hit multiple targets. The enemies are screwed if they are in a line, because its time for a kebab. With Runaan's Hurricane, Twitch's dominance in a teamfight goes unparalleled.
