1:Beast Tanker
2:Has 3 forms of crowd control
3:Good clear speed
4:Passive is good for sustaining in the jungle
5:His ULTIMATE is OP....

1:Mana thristy
2:Low damage if you build him so tanky
3:Realies on his team to do the damage
4:Sapling focus minions first instead of enemy champions...

1st clear: Gromp or krugs
2nd clear: Red or Blue depending on what side of the map
3rd clear: Any camps but dont do the razorbeaks those things are so OP!!!

Recall when your done clearing

Buy your items

Then Gank to lanes...

Note* Don't spam your abilities because maokai is mana hungry
Its okay to spam when you have bluebuff..

Look for enemies that is overextending punish them for doing that

Pick your ganking path
Be patient dont use your abilities right away
Wait for the enemy champion to use there escape or their summoners
Then use your 2 skill to root your Target then 1 skill backwards so you knock them back

Note* when you use your sapling predict where your opponents path
So you can use it more efficently

Pro tip no.1
-Stack up your sapling at 1:20 mark so you get the max amount damage to your first clear
Pro tip no.2
-You can use your sapling as vision to spot enemy champions
Pro tip no.3
-When using your ultimate don't reativate it too early soak up some damage so you can deal
Tons of Damage.
Last tip.
Remember to use your passive to minions or monster for extra sustain!

In team fights your role is a tank frontline so really need to build Armor/MagicResist

Use your 2nd skill to intiate
Protect your carries by using your ult and disrupt enemy with your CC
Reactivate your ult for extra damage or to KS enemy!
Stick to your allies because your not gonna be doing a lot of damage its better to peel for your carries

NOTE* BEWARE OF YOUR MANA BECAUSE YOUR ULTIMATE CONSUMES A LOT"
