Pros / Cons

Pros

+ Global pressure.
+ Great to pick off enemies.
+ Can assasinate carries all over the map if ahead.
+ Has a high cc count with a 3 second stun/slow (with CD).
+ Mana sustain with Bluecard.
+ Completly neglects splitpusher.

Cons

- No escape.
- Low AOE dmg.
- Squishy.
- Hard to play.
- Pretty useless if all of your lanes are loosing including jungle, but again that doesnt make it any different for any other champ.
- Weak lanephase, especially when running two utility summoners like I do.

You always want to start W. An early invade with TF is always situational.

Farming

Pre 6 you want to stay back and farm. This makes it easier for your jungler to gank if he chooses to. Twisted Fate is one of the easiest lanes to gank, especially when the opponent overextends for a longer period of time. The issue however with TF is his low dmg output pre 6, this is just as expected when you run utility runes and has two movementspeed summoners. However ganks are always appreciated and if you manage to blow your opponents flash you pretty much have a freelane, which turns into free roams after 6.
