Phylol recently posted a video explaining this MF build similar to Lucian. The build gets Ghostblade first, followed by Duskblade, Black Cleaver, Last Whisper Item/Bloodthirster/Both, and Cooldown boots somewhere in between. I just tried it, and it's pretty dumb in lane. A well placed Q can take out 1/3 of enemy adc's hp in lane, and can help dispatch beefy laners like Taric.
When you have 3 items, (Ghostblade, Cleaver, Duskblade) you have to play it smart. Position yourself to get a good ult off, as Phylol stated in his video, majority of your damage comes from your ult. Although this build may fall off a lot harder than Lucian, especially cause of the lack of crit. Swain is a problem for you because you don't do burst and with a Visage, he can sustain through a lot of damage you do to him. This build plays for teamfights, trying to get as much AoE damage off with your ult and armor shred for your team. Make sure you're safe or the enemy has already used their crowd control before you decide to channel your ult.
