Introduction

My guide for AP Shaco created solely for Dominion and built around my current playstyle for this champion.


The focus is not on being a one trick pony, feel free to swap the leveling for Two-Shiv Poison and Jack In The Box if you want to box stack in the shadows. You'd want to start working on Morello's Evil Tome and finish it after Boots of Speed for the cdr and mana.

This guide also assumes you are not holding bot/mid and are going top as well as roaming/reclaiming points as needed.

Skill Sequence

Two-Shiv Poison Skilled up first as it's your main source of damage and applies the passive slow for 2 seconds, 1.0 Ability power ratio like Hallucinate, not really much else to say about it other than use it often, it has an 8 second cd and is great for closing gaps.

Jack In The Box Skilled up second, you can grab your first point in this pretty quickly after leaving the gate, grab a point of it early if you really need it or are planning on holding mid/bot for some reason.

Hallucinate Great ultimate, works best on people who panic and newer players. Timing is the key here, as with most ultimates, level when you can.

Deceive Last one, as one point is enough for an AP Shaco.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust and Ignite
Ignite is mainly as a finisher.
Exhaust will allow you to get away or get up close and personal with an AD champ as you unleash on him/her.

You also have options such as Flash and Ghost to help ganking and escaping, I find that with correct timing and usage of Deceive, Jack In The Box and Hallucinate those escape/initiate summoners are redundant.
