Introduction
Hi I'm SPiRiT LoRD and this is my guide to playing
Shaco on dominion. I just wanted to say that this is my first guide and I don't know how to do certain things so please comment on any improvements to my guide that you think I should make.
Shaco is one of my favourite champions and I feel he is one of the best for dominion.
Pros and Cons

Masteries
I take 21, 0, 9 in dominion because i feel it is all about attacking and then defending what you attacked. I find that the extra damage in the offense tree is useful and worth more to
Shaco than in the utility tree. The buff and movement speed increases in utility allow you to capture top more quickly and get around the map. If you wanted to you could take the health in defense. This will give you more survivability.
Runes
I take

these helps Shaco's abilities to penetrate that little bit of magic resistance taht that squishy champions got to defend himself.

gives
Shaco extra damage which is never a bad thing

same thing as the glyphs just a nicer colour.
x3 :
This just gives you that AP early game that helps your abilities get more kills :)
These runes should give you the edge at the beginning of the game which is important in dominion. You might want to however throw in a few health runes or armor to give you that little bit of survivability.

Item Build
I usually pick boots of mobility because you can dart around the map and capture points. The
Sorcerer's Shoes are useful against tanks but I think mobility are the better option.
This item is great because it gives you mana regen, ability power and cooldown reduction. Shaco is a mana hungry champion so this lets you practically spam your traps.
This gives you more damage!!!
Giants belt will help you mid game with those more durable players that take time to kill (e.g
Garen) I build before void staff because at tis stage in he game everyone's has a health item or two.
This gives you more damage and is an essential late game item
More damage and penetration.
Slow works well with your traps as they can attack enemies for longer. Health is good too.
to round off your AP and to give you a little better defense against
Xin Zhao
Skill Sequence

This is your main damaging ability so I find it is important to max first. It is good for poking enemies who are trying to take your capture point. It also applies a slow which is an added bonus.

I max this second. Although it is has an interrupt and is good damage, they aren't always that effective. I mainly use them for defending a capture point and booby-trapping health relics :)
decieve
On AP use this to get to or away from enemies and capture points.

This ulti scales with AP so it does reasonable damage. Use this to trick enemies into attacking you.
This skill sequence is focused on poking enemies. If you prefer to max
Jack In The Box first then go ahead. It depends on who your up against.
Summoner Spells
I take
Ignite because it can not only be used for getting kills but because it stops healing effects it can keep enemy champions on low health. This means you can defend or attack more easily.
Ghost is incredibly useful in dominion because it lets you get round the map quicker, therefore allowing you to capture and defend with ease. A must have in dominion.
Other Viable Spells
Exhaust: slows enemies making them easier to kill and reduces physical damage.
Garrison: Gives your turrets regeneration and attack speed. Reduces enemy turret damage.
Promote: Super minions push more.
Surge: Gives you more damage for a small amount of time.
Heal: lets you live longer meaning you can kill more people.
Non-viable Spells
Flash: Flash is useless in dominion. Ghost is better.
Revive: Cool down is too long for dominion.
Cleanse: dominion is not about escaping.
Tactics
At first rush top. You will be quite fast with your
Ghost. Place some
Jack In The Boxes to stop attackers. If you lose top then You're job is to run around the map capturing unguarded points. This is why
Boots of Mobility are useful. Once you have captured a point you place a trap or two and move on. Defend, once you have captured three points. After you have held off an attack get some health relics and get back to your point. Continue doing this and you're team should win providing they're good as well.
Jack in the Box Placements

Basically, you want to put traps where you think enemies will go.
Summary
AP
Shaco is fun top play and will get you some good wins on dominion.
