Then you've missed the point of coding.

Coding makes it easier to access information. For example, you've just talked about Hunter's Machete? Cool, now I also have a link to it for more information in case the tooltip isn't enough.

Walls of texts, can't be bothered to read? Coding can make it a lot easier to pick out the important points for new players to read who don't want to invest time in trying to decipher the information in order to understand how a champion works. Too much information in one go is simply too much effort for the average reader. If you, as an author, is unable to encourage someone to read, then you've failed as a guide-writer.

Everyone these days are like 'coding is pointless, it's all about the content' and I'm like... Yeah, great. Content. Because presentation doesn't matter at all, right? If the lecturer just talks and talks and talks and talks in a monotonous tone, that's great info... except you've just put the room to sleep and everyone just missed what he was saying. A good lecturer needs to be able to keep the attention of the people he is lecturing. Similarly, a good guide-writer needs to be able to keep his target audience's attention. One way NOT to do this is to write walls of text.

Also, your 'tips'? They aren't that great.

Everywhere. There is not a single good guide without BBCode. No matter how good your info is, nobody wants to read it for fun if it looks like it came out of a textbook. Also this guide is very unfinished.
