Shaco is one of those champions that's just dominating the new map.
He is an assasin that can literaly rip thorugh every champ in game and with his boxes he is nearly undefeatable as a defender.

It's a short guide and i will be testing and updating more so stay tuned =)

I've picked these runes as to ultimately empower what shaco needs.
Armor pen (i'ts a given)
Attack speed works well with the razor and sanguin blade
Cdr: for a lot of box stacking
movement quints for running from tower to tower ravaging, capturing and defending

pretty standard build, no real explanation needed

i start with boots for mobility, and the blade for hp, lifesteal (atleast some) and dmg.
I go the boots of mobility because u need to be able to fly from turret to turret.
I rush the kitae's razor and decide if i need sanguin blade, ionic spark or the mace after that.
same core items every game, only difference is what i go first.

If u need more survivability you go entropy, if u find urself fighting against multiple targets a lot you may need the ionoian spark.

The ionian spark may be switched with following items if you find you dont need it:
The lightbringer
Infinitys edge
Bloodthirster
annything with increased capture rate

starting with one of each ability for utilisation

maxing decieve first then shiv because of the obvious need for more damage burst you get from decieve and the slow from shiv aint beating that.

boxes are VERY good for defending but their not very much other than the fear so i keep it at 1 point until last.

take a point in ult whenever you can

I take ghost again for mobility

garrison is a great spell for both defence and offense, but it can be justified by taking ignite or exhaust.

As Shaco you need to be defending by setting up boxes around turrets, but you also need to run betwean different capture points switching betweans the roles as conqueror and defender.

you can solo almost annyone but be carefull with 1 v 2'ing to much

Early game you want to make your team send 2 bot and 3 top (you want to go top)
As your team take the first turret, you rush to the windmill (middle top turret) and start placing boxes. Place one and start capturing the point. If you place the box at the enemies side they will be feared when they run up to innterrupt you and you will most likely get away if you need to run or get of some much needed damage on them if your team arives or you feel safe taking them on.

Later in the game you want to keep as many secure points as possible and always think creative, by taking points enemies dont expect u to take or just take a point to distract them from defending one of their own so your team can seize that. Remember you are shaco, you can get away!

Box placement is crutial. Place them around turrets you controll or are capturing so the enemy will have a hard time getting at them and will probably take som turret damage before they can start capturing them. Placing boxes in the brush and in the forrest (middle of the map) is also good, it will definately slow down ennemies trying to take shortcuts, and show you where they are heading so you can counter it.

In Dominion teamplay is crucial, dont go around in one in group spread out and switch on the roles of defending and capturing.

Shaco is an awesome assasin and defender in Dominion he deserves a better guide than this and i'll surely make it better as soon as i get the time =)

P.S: suprising moves and offensive actions are very well suited for dominion. Hit the opponent where they wont excpect it and create a lot of distractions for them.
