1. Introduction.


This is my first guide for MobaFire, and I've tought about it, and im doing it about as u know Shaco ;D
Shaco is one of my main champions. I play shaco as tank, and this guide is going to teach you how to play shaco as tank, so u can take alot dmg, make many kill's, and never, ever let enemies get away. As you will play shaco u will get alot of people rage at you, but as you will just go mid and start owning, they will stop raging. i had many people rage like that at me, especially at ranked games people will rage.

3. Summoner Spells.

Ignite: If I had to choose between Exhaust and Ignite I will take Ignite. I believe that Ignite is more useful because Shaco should never have a problem with getting the gank off. It's just sometimes you can't get off enough damage and Ignite can finish them off.

Flash: The cool down on Deceive isn't short enough if you use it to engage in the fight. Flash is definitely not a bad choice cause it gives you the oppertunity to always escape out of a fight. Plus how i play shaco u can give ur enemies a BIG suprise, by standing far wile they are low hp, use deveive and right after it Flash to reach to them and finsh them off, it will blow their mind 100% and most times it gives me the 1st blood.

4. Masteries.


My mastery set up is fairly abnormal especially since our objective is to have early game dominance as Shaco. But, a very common error you will see most people make is over compensating and actually placing too many mastery points and even runes, in CDR. Doing so this early in the game having the standard set with 9% CDR from masteries, and an average of about 5.8% CDR from flat CDR glyphs comes out to 14.8% CDR at level 1. Cool. Now you can spam spells faster with the massive mana pool Shaco doesn't have. The way my mastery tree works is to get the required stuff, just to keep us a bit more in check with our mana usage and get more burst dmg with our ap skills, like Two-Shiv Poison.

Summoner's Wrath // Whenever ignite is on CD you will have a extra 5 AP and 5 AD Bonus.

Mental Force // The more AP u got on start the more dmg u will do, same counts for Blast & Archmage .

Sorcery // For some CDR, always usable.

Executioner // For finishing off enemies of all kinds.

UTILITY

Summoner's Insight // For -15 sec on Flash, so u can use it more times.

Good Hands // For 10% less death time, always good to have.

Swiftness // For chasing enemy champions on early games.

Runic Affinity // Very usefull, for longer time buffs.

We want to max out Two-Shiv Poison because it is our main damage dealer. Then Deceive as it will let us get close to champions on mid. We level up Jack In The Box last as the first level fear is fantastic and you don't have to upgrade it.

7. Items.


Starting Item

OR

Doran's Shield Is what im picking 90% of the times, cause it gives u HPRegen and some armor.

Doran's Ring Is what i sometimes pick, depends on what mid ur against on, if he/she is AP and squishy, u will want to take Doran's Ring, cause u dont need armor, u get ManaRegen wich u can spam more skills with. And MOST IMPORTANT the AP OFC :D! +15AP on this build will give u a head start of 51AP :D! amazing eh? pple will **** their selfs on mid, and ur Two-Shiv Poison will do crazy dmg!
Sub Item & Boots

& OR

Heart of Gold Will give you extra HP! And extra money!
Mercury's Treads Will be ur main choise, cause it gives you tenacity and MR
Ninja Tabi Is For teams that have a AD mid, and lets say jungler AP or support AP, so u wont need MR but u will get armor, and u take less DMG from basic. so a excellent 2nd choise!
Core Items

Warmog's Armor Is the item that gives the most hp on the game, wich is i BIG advantage in game when ur a tank.
Thornmail Is a super item against ad carrys, and if they have many ad players.
Atma's Impaler Gives u DEF & HP + its amazing passive that gives u AD depending on ur HP. (Wich combines Perfect with Warmog's Armor )
Randuin's Omen Is a All-round tank item, it gives DEF, HP, HPRegen, CDR and a chance to slow you attacker's movement and attk speed by 35%.
End Item

OR

Phantom Dancer Most times u will pick Phantom Dancer cause it gives you and ur clone attk speed, crit % and movement speed.
Force of Nature Or you can pick Force of Nature Wich is usefull if they have many AP champions, OR if their carry is a AP. wich can make you tank even better then.
