Introduction

This guide is my first on mobafire, so if you think I should change something, just leave a comment. Please don't just hate and leave constructive critisism.
Why did I choose Shaco?
In my opinion, Shaco is one of the more fun champions to play. Of course this is opinion based, and it is not neccesary for you to think so, but you might just become a better Shaco player because of my build.

Runes

For the runes, these are very standard.
The Armor Pen. marks are standard on almost any physical dealing champion.
The Armor seals are because I feel like Shaco is quite easily harrassed/killed throughout the whole game.
The Magic Resist glyphs are for the same purpose.
The Quintessence is up to you, the flat AD Quintessence is better early-game, but you damage will be more sustained late game when you take the Armor Pen. Quintessence.

Masteries

The mastery is focussed on damage output throughout the game. I took Summoner's Wrath because both of my summoner's spells benefit from this. After that I just went down from the Offense tree, and I filled the final 9 spots with some more survivability.

Items

I start with a Amplifying Spell Tome, just for the extra Jack-in-the-box damage. On the first trip back, depending whether I already have a kill or not, I buy my boots for the mobility, and optionally already a mana crystal for my Sheen. On the second trip back, I purchase the Sheen for that early game damage edge. After the Sheen I buy boots of mobility for that nice movement speed which goes so well with Shaco. Then I go for the Infinity's Edge, you will see a massive damage increase, both with your Q and E skill and your basic attacks. After that I go for the bloodthirster when I am doing well, and otherwise I skip to Madred's Blood Razor. This item is optional though. When you play against an off-tank team. This item is great, but when you play a bunch of squishies, don't buy it. Finally, I finish my Trinity Force as final item. When the game still isn't over, don't forget to buy those nice Elixers!

Skill Sequence

I start with the Jack-in-the-box. As a few of those do massive damage. But because I am an AD Shaco, the Jack-in-the-boxes lose their damage quite quickly. I go for deceive first, because this will be your main opening move. Deceive close, try to backstab and use basic attacks. Finish the kill off with a Two-Shiv Poison blade. That is also the skill I max second. This is also you main harrassment skill and Shaco's only ranged move. The Jack-in-the-box can still be used late game, not for the damage but for the fear. Shaco's ult Hallucinate can be tricky to use. You can use it in a brush, and send you clone to battle. But you can also double your damage output while in a 1v1 with someone. This is an ult which can be used in many ways and many situations.

Summoner Spells

I use Ghost and Ignite because these are two of my favourite spells for Shaco.
Why not Flash?
Shaco's Deceive is a free flash + Stealth!
Why not Exhaust?
Shaco's Two-Shiv poison has a built-in slow.
Other Viable choices
- Surge (Not recommended but a possibility.)
- Cleanse (Could save your life maybe.)
- Flash (One of the better ones, I prefer ghost though.)
- Exhaust (If you don't like Ignite.)
No, just No!
- Clairvoyance (Let the support take it.)
- Promote (Useless in my opinion.)
- Revive (You don't want to die do you!?)
- Teleport (You are fast enough with Boots of Mobility.)
- Clarity (Let the support take it.)
- Heal (Again, support.)
- Smite (This is not a jungle build.)
- Garrison (Dominion and support.)
