Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello everybody, I'm Limit, and this is my first guide. I hope that you all find it very informative! I spent a lot of time and effort to make this guide the best it can be. Please feel free to advise me on how to do better or if I make a mistake, tell me. Now into the build we go!
Shaco is a very easy champion to play in my opinion. He has great escape mechanisms, and can deal a ton of hurt. If he has his Deceive ready, it will make him extremely difficult to kill. My main goal for him is to be able to make fast and easy ganks. A slow Shaco is a useless shaco in speed and survivability.
Pros and Cons
- Great Escapist
- Deceive is a free flash
- VERY EASY First Blood
- You can tell which clone is real by looking at items
There's not really much to talk about in this section. I am going a FULL AD build, so there's only one way to fill out your masteries for it. In the offensive side I get attack damage and armor penetration while on the utility side I take speed and longer buff masteries. Since I took Exhaust and Flash, I take their specified masteries too. Summoner's Wrath and Summoner's Insight .
I take attack damage and armor penetration runes mainly for to get a easy first blood and fast low-level ganks. You can also get more attack-per-level runes if you plan to have a game that lasts long.
The reason I take Exhaust instead of Ignite is because it is easier for a first blood and you would chop your opponents to bits before they even had a time to run! I take Flash even though I have Deceive because if the ability is on CD(cooldown), you're pretty much screwed unless you have good juking techniques.
Good alternatives to Exhaust and Flash are :
Ignite because what if your opponents are low and they might get away? :O
Really good for ganking and getting back to your lane FAST!
DO NOT get this if you aren't jungling.
BAD Summoner Spells
I just want to tell you all this because some people wonder why shouldn't I get this spell or that.
You aren't a support.
You already have 10% death time in your masteries.
Shaco's spells don't require that much mana...
Ghost is OKAY, but your items and masteries and substitute for that.
LOL! Potions have no CD and can heal you more.
Who uses this these days?
Time to explain what spells to max first!
Q - E - W and get R at levels 6, 11, and 16.
The reason I take Jack In The Box first is because if you stack together and someone walks near it, FIRST BLOOD.
What you max should look like this!
The core items you get should be a Boots of Mobility, The Black Cleaver, Youmuu's Ghostblade, Phantom Dancer, The Bloodthirster, and last but not least, Infinity Edge.
These items are built for maximizing damage output combined with speed. If you prefer more survivability I recommend replacing Youmuu's Ghostblade with a Banshee's Veil or a Guardian Angel.
Here are the reason I get these items.
Makes ganking and running away very easy.
Chop those tanks to bits!
Armor penetration and CDR along with a UNIQUE ACTIVE? Sweet!
Critical Chance, Movement Speed, Attack Speed, IN A PACK!
Who doesn't like damage and lifesteal with bonus stacks?
Boss damage and critical chance. A MUST HAVE item.
For more survivability, replace Youmuu's Ghostblade with:
Killing Dragon at LEVEL 1
For those of you wondering how to kill dragon early in the game, this is how you do it!
Requirements : MUST HAVE ULTIMATE and Elixir of Brilliance
Step 1 : Buy Elixir of Brilliance and place your place your boxes near entrance.
Step 2 : Ignite and Smite dragon to get him lower.
Step 3 : DONE! GLOBAL GOLD FTW!
Here's a more descriptive video make by Arkandji!
There's not much to say except to remember to last hit. Learn it. If you don't know what last hitting means or how to do it, here's a simple video about it by TheLoladdict!
Main goals for this guide is to get early ganks, kill dragon early, and maximize damage output for an AD Shaco.
That's the end of my Shaco build. Put a lot of time and effort into and it would be nice to +Rep me or something! Thanks, and PEACE OUT!
