Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
I believe the greates of Shaco is how fast he can kill a champion, before he gets ganked, and believe me, after the 2nd kill you get, you'll start to get more and more ganks, so you need to kill fast, and move on.
Starting out with 31% increased attack speed, really puts you in starting advantage, since, you'll start out with nearly 1atk/s (around .970 atks/s).
With this, you can surely hit a lot, and reall fast. Stay far as possible from a Garen and a xin, these ones can really harm you.
In some cases, i prefer a full set of armor seal runes, by doing that i change from Youmuu to Madred's Bloodrazor. Armor somewhat important, that only depends on your lane.
Getting more and more offensive, that's how you can rely on your Shaco. Don't worry about getting sad about the way the team is gonna treat you, since, most of the time, you'll get a notice from someone after doing a kill, and ending up on ks....that happens a lot with Shaco, specially because you have a lot of damage going out, and with Tiamat on your hand you farm so fast you won't believe.
I prefer going for Shiv for a good start, is nice to keep distance, and because of masteries, the mana regen will help you nearly kill only by using it frequently.
Go for a deceive as soon as you can, so u can Shiv + Deceive fast, would be nice if you master the use of both as fast as you can, throw a Shiv and immediatelly after go for Deceive and see how much damage you gonna do...The ultimate is a great way of getting the kills, i, presonally, reccommend you start the ult before engaging, ult up, deceive + box, and only if the champ strat to run away you shiv him (if your timing is right he won't be abble o run, since you and your copy do slow effects)
When you hit level 8, with a good laner by your side, preferely a range one, you would be around 4-6/0-2 (the deaths depends directly on your teammate, since you won't go alone to teamfights, at least not on the game start).
Masterize Shiv and Deceive at all costs, the box is only to help you get the kills, not to kill or spend a hundred of them on the bushes (as i see a lot around there)
On a lot of games with Shaco you'll notice you get damaged a lot, and not once you'll see a Shaco with Bloodthirster, i don't recommend you go for it, unless you need to go x1 / x2 too much often.
After you got yourself the tiamat, your ult and you become a real slaughter machine, go for Whisper and youn can nearly kill the guys with mostly 10-12 hits, (and that, with your ult on, so consider about 3-5s to kill a champ)
Getting the cleaver will start to hurt a lot on the enemies, from this point on, never go out alone, unless you sure to get a kill, else you will be probably ganked frequently.
Be wise to take a look before engaging on combat, since you can die really fast, wont be wise to stay upfront.
I choose ghost + ignite since you can gank in, gank out fast, that helps a lot on teamfights, since you can go in with ghost on, and safely come out with ghost nearly ending. Of course, you don't need to rely on ghost to gank on, your ult does the most of the job. If you ult + deceive, your image will move nicely towards the target your are in the back, be sure to wait fot the image to do the first hit, so you can surely hit from behind, if you do nice, your first hit will be like a 50% hp damage. After 1-2 hits, start out a ignite with a box, and done, champ dead.
I believe this build can make you a potential 16+/something on any game since you can gank fast, and kill even faster.
