Introduction

Fizz is AP melee assasin, with high burst damage able to take down enemy ranged squishy champions easily. However, Fizz is having hard time against some hard AD champions like Olaf or Xin Zhao.

Runes

AP Glyphs and Quints for some burst damage, health in seals for some defense at early-mid game before you get Rod of Ages. And some MPen Marks for increased damage.

Masteries

For masteries I take normal mage tree in offense with summoner spell improvement and also take some defense which gives me alot more health and some health regen.

Items

I take Sorcerer's Shoes because every mage will need this... Why? Magic Penetration. Than I take Lich Bane because it is need for Fizz. And then take Rod of Ages for health and mana, Rabadon's Deathcap for gigantic AP and best passive for mage. After that I take Athene's Unholy Grail because Fizz is super mana hungry and he will need it. And finally I take Deathfire Grasp because it is great against tanks who stack health.
PS: Guide shows that my build gives you only 505 AP, but Rabadon's Deathcap unique passive will give you extra 151 AP and masteries will give you some also along with Runes and you will have up to 750 AP.

Skill Use Sequence

Your skill use sequence is Q -> E -> W -> Auto Attack -> R -> Ignite. Use ignite if you don't kill him yet and he tries to run away.

Summoner Spells

I take Ghost and Ignite for 2 reasons: Fizz has some built in flash and he won't need , For ... Use it to finish off running enemies who have low health left and you have some cooldowns on your abilities or use it at start of a fight if you are facing life steal champions.
Another Alternative is , take it instead of your .

Team Work

Don't rush in team fights first. Wait for your tank to attack and absorb some damage, after that, rush in with skill use sequence I taught you before.

Farming

First, just last hit minions. However, Fizz is great farmer with his E if it's maxed out and he has some AP from Lich Bane and some MPen from Sorcerer's Shoes.
