Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Ok so this build is designed for a tough Shen that can dish out a bit of damage. Many poeple tell me Shen is more of a 5v5 champion, but I believe he is just as beast in 3v3 games.
So my rune page is focused more early game. I like it simple so I just go flat Hp all around. I start the game with around 900 hp which makes it very hard to kill Shen early game.
My Masteries are the typical tank tree with some ability power thrown in there to help with the damage.
The item build is pretty basic, start with your doran's shield to put you around 900HP @ lvl 1. Then grab your boots early to not get out ran. Next is what makes my build special. Go for the crystal scepter, this will help in many ways including: better feint sheild, better ult shield, and most of all more damage and healing with your dagger, not to mention your dagger (very spammable) will slow them. Next finish off your boots, based on the opposing team, get dodge boots or magic resist boots. After the boots, you will grab the firecape. This will complement the build with a bit more magic damage to nearby enemies. So at this point you should have over 100 ability power. Meaning your daggers do decent damage, your Ki strike will hurt b/c of your high HP, both your sheilds are beefed up, AND your firecape is hurting them the whole time.
Skill order is obvious. I don't take preference over any skill. I use all of them at all times. So with this in mind, I lvl all of them evenly.
I go exhaust and flash with every champ I play. Both work very well for Shen in 3v3.
This Shen build will make you very versatile, you can still take a **** ton of damage with lots of Hp and your beefed up feint shield, you can support your team better than ever with your beefed up ult shield as well as your daggers that slow enemies, and you can even do a good amount of damage as all tanks should in 3v3 matches.
