Excellent guide man, just tried this out, had my enemies cussing me out and my carries praising my name! Was a little bit wary at first, but excellent guide!

I totally agree, Shen is my favorite champ, i do what you do early game with heart of gold and boots, but i also start building randuin and FoN at the same time, so i can start to balance my armor, mr ratio, if the enemy team is more ap i go for spirit visage for the cdr mr and regen, then my build is pretty much complete. I do get GA cause it has the nice passive and armor, and mr, and if my team is dominating i get abyssal scepter. but great guild man definitely +100

tough there is a section that is not present and I think it would be better: Nurturing!
In the Top duo scenario versus 2: there's something you can do it is to get with a champ like Garren (burst DPS) and make sure not only he gets all the kills but as well that he get plenty done it a few times and Garren was my best partner in crime. I ended at Lvl 12 (like the rest of my team) but him at lvl 15-16 so I was able to support Teemo(or the squishy Veigar) and Garren was so fed that after we pushed top till the inibitor he simply wiped out the base on his own while me, Teemo and Dr mundo were struggling with the bot turret of their base Garret single-handedly wiped the three nexus turrets and warrick and downed the nexus before we could enter the base!!
anyway Im not gonna post my own guide it would a copy paste of yours plus that!

My only question is, why no AP? AP boosts all of your skills including the all important Stand United. If you pop Stand United on a team mate with this build you get +150% of 0. Sure you give team mates the base boost but nothing else to add survivability while the team mate waits for you to port.

Still a viable build for shen, but with the reworks he really needs to build some attack speed. Currently downvoted, but when you get the chance to update I'm 100% sure it'll be an upvote since this is/was an amazing guide overall.

After rework shield lasts only 5 seconds. Your ally doesn't need more than 850 dmg absorption in that time in 90% of cases. That's why I don't stack AP.




The guide is reworked already - I'm not going to change my items. I still love the current build - don't expect to add some attack speed in the near future. I'm just a conservative, pure tank player. Maybe it's too old now, but it's just the way I'm playing. :)
Still I respect your downvote. I can't guarantee that this build is the best. I was absolutely sure, that before the rework this guide was THE BEST, but now... It is great, but I'm not sure it's the best.

This is such a solid guide. There was so much effort put into this. One thing I sometimes like to swap in with Shen is a Thornmal. The passive is nice but the armour burst it gives you is fantastic.

It increases your energy by +10 ;)
It is pretty hard to see after all those mana stats.
