This build is to go against an all around team. Whether they have 2 ADs and 2APs or 3 ADs and 1 AP.

I start with doran's shield and a health pot to stay in lane long enough so that I am able to get merc treads quickly. Honestly merc treads was all that I need to stop a Ryze. I got them around level 4 or so and he threw everything at me and i took little damage.

After getting merc treads I focus on building a randuin's omen and build heart of gold first. While being a fairly inexpensive item, it helps out with it's gold passive and extra health.

Once the randuin is built that is when the fun begins. it gives you cool down reduction, armor, health regen, and it has an amazing active that slows everyone around you. It really doesn't matter if you're using it on an ap or ad champ it is just to help slow them down for your team. TEAMWORK MATTERS.

The sunfires are self explanatory. Great item to do damage with as a tank and take tower hits while your teammates are attacking it.

*NOTE*
in case they do have someone that does massive damage and they're AP, build a force of nature and or aegis of legion, other than that you can continue on with sunfires.

Also for my twisted treeline match, i believe i was going against a yi, olaf and someone else. I was able to go through the wall at top and 1v1 yi. Ki strike ftw.
