This guide is a prototype of a tank taking on the roll as a dps. This guide is meant for fun, and to switch things around a bit :D This guide is not made to followed all the time, for shen is a natural tank, this guide just adds some flavor to him. He pulls his swords to fast, He'll start flying around as if he's on Bath Salts. Have fun with this. :D

I chose attack speed, because he'll need it in order to farm the minions easier and to get that extra final attack when they're trying to run away.

Armor penetration because your going to need it with this guide which is based off basic attacking, to wreck their armor off them and rape them with you swords.


The quintessence's can be switched for more armor/movement speed/ or more armor. These will all help you early game to assist in getting first blood or dominating and getting first blood

The seals for armor will help you to stay in longer and take some brutal damage.

These masteries are designed to help you dominate with extra armor penetration and damage. The masteries will also help the use of your main summoning spells, increased heal,flash,exhaust, and ignite.

Start out with Doran's shield because your runes and masteries will give you a great chance to destroy, but you need the extra health and armor bonus so that you can actually take some damage.

boots ares always essential for movement speed, and Berserker's Grieve's will give you a great attack speed bonus which will work with your armor penetration.

depending on how well you're doing with your teamate in the lane, you can decide on whether if you need the extra health to take some more hits, or start out with the zeal for the extra attack and movement speed.

now you can switch out chain vest to build a force of nature, depending on who your facing.

Buy your B.F. Sword, then directly get your infinity blade so you can get the damage, and then gain an extra critical strike with your zeal.

Build your zeal into a Phantom Dancer to allow for maximum highness with soo much attack speed, movement speed, and crticical chance.
** You can buy as many Phantom Dancers as you please, Shen can always use more swords to be as close to as Master Yi. He'll be swinging so fast he'll fly high in the sky, Shen the flying Ninja!**

Phage can be bought earlier if you hve some decent gold right before your chain vest or zeal.

Finish your armor and critical ability with an Atma's Impaler.

With all of your critical strikes and great dps, you can now finish your Phage with a frozen mallet to get the extra health bonus, and slow ability, which works well with your Phantom Dancer.

As normal always level up your ult at level 6,11, and 18. But use your vorpal blade to sort of poke at the enemy every now and then. Your feint should be used wisely due to the long CD, along with your shadow dash as well. You'll be lucky to use it twice in a team fight in late game, so use it when you decide is the best time to re-ingage in the enemy as they flee, or to get away yourself, and allow your teammate the kill.

I use Heal and Exhaust personally because heal helps you anytime as a natural tank, and to help you and your teammate get the extra kill in early game and get the head start. Exaust can be used to slow a fleeing enemy, even if your Shadow Dash doesn't help finish himm off, this will let you get back in range to FINISH HIM!

Ignite can always be used to stop the enemy healing and to get the kill if they happen to survive after your Shadow Dash.

This Build is a very different build made for fun and could actually work if played right...... it's up to you! This is just a basic outline for a fun game. This could be a custom game, Vs. AI's, even a match game. Have Fun!
