Introduction : Why AP Shen?
Solo : As soon you have Lich Bane you can hit like 1300 Dmg! first use a Vorpal Blade for 600 Dmg then you do the Lich Bane effect for 500 Dmg and then a Ki Strike for an additional 200 Dmg thats OP if you ask me!
Teamfight : Your whole team went to the mid for a teamfight and is losing because you aren't there but with your Stand United you can turn the tables, first you save 1 teammate with Stand United then you Shadow Dash into the enemy and you just start spamming Q and W problem solved!
In the Masteries i choose Defense for the Dmg reduction and the dodge AP Shen is very weak early game and can use some Dmg reduction, Mid game Shen can survive because of Ninja Tabi's Dodge and do enough Dmg to kill someone, Late game Shen will be OP he takes low Dmg and does high Dmg no player will be able to defeat you in a 1 v 1 and because of the Magic pen the masteries give you together with the void staff the enemy will have no chance.

Mejai's Soulstealer : gives a great AP boost every kill and you rarely die if you now how to play with Shen...
Ninja Tabi : Why not Sorcerer's Shoes? you already have magic pen from your Masteries and dodge is much more usefull because AP Shen gets some survivability from it and you will have a 10% movement speed bonus while fighting from your Mastery
Rylai's Crystal Scepter : It's the PERFECT item for Shen, it gives a slow on your Vorpal Blade + AP + Survivability + a more powerfull Ki Strike !
Lich Bane : Let the pwning begin 600 Vorpal Blade Dmg and an aditional 500 form your Lich Bane!
Rabadon's Deathcap : Woo awsome AP and a 30% AP boost !!!
Void Staff : The game is ending and you will eat their Magic Resistance with this item to pwn them even harder!
Is the game not going so well on the start ? or you if you don't like Mejai's replace it withDeathfire Grasp
Ghost : It's a good choice for chasing ppl or to get away
Ignite : Shen has great Dmg and even greater Dmg with Ignite and to bring down healing champions easily also great for FB, you should always choose this spell.
Exhaust: Is a good choice, this can save you in many ways or be used to chase someone
Flash : Is a good choice but you already have a Flash like ability.
(Active): Shen deals magic damage to target unit. That unit becomes life tapped for 5 seconds, healing any champions who attack it over 3 seconds. The attacker's healing duration is refreshed each time the life tapped unit is struck again.

Cost: 70 / 65 / 60 / 55 / 50 Energy
Magic Damage: 50 / 95 / 140 / 185 / 230 (+0.65 per Ability Power)
Heal: 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 health (+0.2 per Ability Power)
Laning tip :Vorpal Blade is great to heal your self use it on a cannon minion and keep hitting it.
(Active): Shen enters a defensive stance, shielding himself from some damage. Lasts up to 2.5 seconds.

Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 seconds
Shield Absorbtion: 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 (+0.6 per Ability Power)
Laning tip :Feint needs the right timing if you are fighting vs Ezreal or Lux walk towards them use feint and do a Vorpal Blade to do some damage without losing health while laning.
(Active): Shen rapidly dashes to a target location, Taunting enemies he collides with. Restores 50 Energy if you hit a champion.
* Cooldown: 10 seconds
* Range: 600 (estimate)
Cost: 120 / 115 / 110 / 105 / 100 Energy
Taunt: 0.8 / 1.1 / 1.4 / 1.7 / 2 seconds
Global tip :Shadow Dash is great to pass through walls or escape from alot of attacks.
(Active): Places a shield on a target allied champion, which will absorb damage for 7.5 seconds. After channeling for 2.5 seconds, Shen teleports to the target's location.
* Cost: 50 Energy
* Range: Global
Cooldown: 180 / 150 / 120 seconds
Shield Absorbtion: 300 / 525 / 750 (+1 per Ability Power)
Global tip :Stand United is best to use when your allied champion has low health and Shadow Dash on the enemy after doing it so that the enemy wont attack your ally.
