Hello my name is Indeed545 and today I'm presenting you my brand new guide for AP Soraka for The Twisted Treeline. Soraka actualy fits in every role (except tank) so you may call her "Your Everything" but, she is mainly support. But in this guide we will learn about AP Soraka. I'm gonna make this guide short and sweet, so just sit back and enjoy:).
The guide is based on personal prefference
If you don't know how to play Soraka and lose a game using this guide don't blame me.
Pros / Cons
+She can dish out
some pretty good damage
+It's a UNICORN!!!!
-Focused in Teamfights
consecration-Usefull passive, nice MR.
Starcall- Used for pushing, chasing and killing :). Nice damage too.
Astral Blessing- The best heal in game. It also gives you additional armor.
Infuse- When you target an ally you restore their mana and when you target an enemy champion you deal damage and silence him.
Wish- Second best heal in game. It INSTANTLY restores half of hp to all of your allys!
Heal- Now about this... Don't just downvote because you see Heal as a summoner spell. I like heal because it saved my live for at least thousand times.
Flash- It's really handy. Great for escaping and chasing.
Ignite- Great finisher and you can also stop some champions at healing ( Sion, Vladimir...)
Ghost- Just like Flash but you can't go over walls.
Surge- Nice AP boost.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration- A must for all AP champs.
Greater Seal of Ability Power- I chose this rune instead of Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration becouse catalyst the protector and Deathfire Grasp fix my small mana problems, so you don't need mana runes, you only need damage.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power- I chose this rune becouse of AP ofc.
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed- I chose this rune becouse we start with Doran's Ring, we have absolutley no Movement speed early and you will get focused. So the best choice for you is this.
Catalyst the Protector
Doran's Ring -I chose this as a atarting item becouse it gives me additional Health, Mana and AP. With Movespeed quints and this item in early game you will rule.
Ionian Boots of Lucidity - Soraka needs CDR(Cooldown Reduction) so I think that almost every game you will need this boots.
catalyst the protector - This item will help you to survive and it will terminate your small mana problems. You can turn it into Rod of Ages if you want.
Deathfire Grasp - I think that this is a must for AP Soraka becouse she has only two damaging skills and with the buffs of this item you will have a solid burst.
Will of the Ancients - Great item for 1v1 you will heal constantly and instead of healing yourself with W you can save the heal for your ally.
Rabadon's Deathcap - A must for all AP Spellcasters.
Mercury's Treads - If the enemy team has hard CC and powerfull spellcasters.
Void Staff - If the enemy team builds MR.
Banshee's Veil - If you think it's needed...
Morello's Evil Tome - Soraka needs CDR but we allready have DfG and Ionian Boots.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Gives you a nice slow while using Starcall
Zhonya's Hourglass - Def and AP, buy if you want but we allready have enugh survabillity.
This is the classic choice for almost all AP casters. I take it becouse it gives you all an AP caster needs (AP, CDR, Mpen,Movement speed...)
This is a classic shoice for support champions, but some AP casters use it. Greed , Awareness and Swiftness are great for lane advantage. If you like this page then take it.
So grab your Doran's Ring and go to bot lane. There you will go for first blood of kill first bush. If you go for fb always silence the ap caster, don't be too much agressive. If you go to kill the first bush you will have to pull creeps with Infuse. After you cast go back a little and start punching.
While laning try to stay back, lasthit minions and harras with Infuse. If the enemy is making the first move to attack you, try to fight but if you see that you can't win, run away.
In mid game you should push and get drake. There will probably be a fight for him so try to save the heals for that. The ganks will start. Always say your ally that your enemies are MIA, otherwise he will hate you if the enemies come and kill him.
In late game you should stick togather with your ally's, you never know when will the enemies come. Push togather.
Well it seems like our journey is coming to an end. Like I sead on the beggining I'm gonna make this short and sweet.
