Great build but I would suggest on a re-attempt. The guide is good in its raw form but it lacks visual details and updating in terms of season 8. Not a bad guide though and players acn definitely learn soemthing from this! Good luck!

Isnt mastery "dangerous game" muuch better than "bandit"? bandit is for supports

Hello, I'm not the maker of this guide, but bandit is taken because when you use your q which counts as a basic attack u gain 10 gold, instead of the normal 3 if you are ranged, since you really are a melee champion. This allows you to stack up cash faster, something you need since your items are quite expensive.

Is it ever possible to take Blood thirster or some lifestealing item on gp?

Citrus Jesus (1) | December 25, 2016 8:07pm
Yes. Rarely, I'll find myself exchanging youmuus for death's dance. I don't normally recommend it, but it works out in certain cases. Right now my guide is pretty down to the basics. I'll add more specifics later, such as when to items like this :)

So uh, why do you take sorcery over fury? And natural talent over vampirism?
1
Citrus Jesus (1) | December 25, 2016 8:06pm
I'll cover this soon enough in my guide, but to be quick with it, your barrels will scale off sorcery, therefore you can get more barrel burst potential.

Natural talent gives a little more ap to scale with oranges/ult and the extra ad is nice. You can change it to vampirism if you're struggling with sustain in lane.

I don't think a con should be that he is hard to catch up to from behind. There have been many numerous pro games where a team with gangplank has been down 10k gold yet gangplank just keeps keeping them in there because of his ability to dominate as the game grows increasingly longer.

Ehhhh. As I do agree with this, keep in mind that this is a guide targetted at beginners. A seasoned GP player can play accordingly based on where they are in the game, but a player who doesn't have the same experience may struggle some.

Yeah, it's a like a pop up with some text. You can see examples of this in many guides. But if you are not into BBC coding just some info in the item section would be fine

Yo, just an FYI, your oranges can cancel yasuo ult and tahm kench devours, thresh hooks, and the crazy susan slow. I havent tried this yet, but i think it should also cancel lissandra ult. Also one trick i've learned for dealing with fiora: When she ults you, run into a wall. This way she cannot hit the 4th vital and not get the heal...xD

How about another section for playing gangplank mid? personally i prefer playing him mid over top because of the amount of bull**** that goes on at top lane...(Jayce and illaoi i'm looking at you)

Yes. I'm aware of GP's orange crazyness. GP mid is better than top, I totally agree. My dou partner is a mid main, so I'm stuck with top. I'm currently updating the guide, thanks for the suggestion; I'll definitely consider it.
