Zed is a very high threat. He can farm with his Q and 100-0 you if you're not prepared. However, a good Azir can beat a decent Zed (try Zhonya's).

Introduction

Thank you for taking a look at my Azir build! I am an Azir main and this is the best advice I have to learn how to play him. He is a very hard poke mid laner. He has sustain damage and slows. He takes some time to learn and a lot of time to master.

Runes and Masteries

The Runes and Masteries I run are pretty standard and they work to perfection. You will have 7.5 CDR in your runes and 5 in your masteries. Therefore, after you get your boots and Morello, you already have 40% CDR. This works great with your passive and helps you farm in lane.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
~He has high poke in lane.
~He has very high damage
~He is in the current meta.

Cons:
~Takes lots of time and dedication to master.
~His shifting sands can be blocked.
~Some champions can go over Emperor's Divide

Farming

Farming with Azir is pretty simple. You need to use your mana conservatively. Farm with your W Auto Q combo or W auto auto. Your q, however, can set up kills on cannons.
