Shyvana has a skillset that is capable of clearing the jungle camps way faster than most of the junglers. You can use this to gain more gold than anyone else in game and deprive the enemy to get his share.

With her potentially high damage skillset and defensive build, she makes a great initiator and damager, making her a force to be reckoned with.

Pros:
- Extremely fast clearance speed.
- Great damaging skillset.
- Good fight initiator.
- Can burn down tanks with ease.

Cons:
- No gap-closers except for ult.
- Lousy chaser. Can be easily shoved off.

- Clear one side of your jungle ASAP (won't be a trouble) and go for enemy Wolves/Raptors. There are 8/10 chances that you would either find the spot unattended or find a half HP enemy trying to clear the camp.
- ALWAYS take your own buffs as soon as they spawn.
- If you have 2 stacks of smite, smite the raptor before heading into enemy jungle for the true vision.
- ALWAYS try to smite enemy Wolf for the vision spirit. Its a great help to track enemy movement.
- Camp scuttler for the vision to check if enemy Jungler is invading your jungle to farm.
- You can do the Drake at lvl 5 solo. So go for it if its not dangerous (be at full HP when u start and have a HP potion).

Shyvana is a nice fight initiators with her ultimate. However she can't bring anything else on the table since she doesn't have any kind of hard CC after the fight starts. But her damage is really too much for the back line carries and supports to deal with and it makes up for no CC.

Wait for your team to poke the enemy front line a little before you ult and try to get the carries. Once the enemy carry is/are dead or fairly out of the fight area, turn back to help your back line. Shyvana can fight tanks and fighters easily with her E and W and can burn them down fast.

Another strategy is to just fight in human form and use the ult to escape and rejoin the fight if you aren't doing good at tanking and spanking.
