Introduction

Before we start let me clarify that your attack will be higher than presented, at least 300AD by the end of the build. That being said lets get started.

Skill Sequence

The reason to get Flame Breath first is as a precaution. This will allow you to check a bush in the beginning of the match without having to step foot in it first and be beaten down in the beginning of the match. After this you are going to want to get Burnout for its movement speed and the AOE in order to get some farming from the minions. Followed by Twin Bite which will help in getting last hits for the minions.

Early game it is really important to plan all your attacks. Your Flame Breath will do a lot of damage to squishy champions such as Teemo and Twitch early game but can lose its effectiveness on characters like Olaf by level 5. This can be very important to get the first blood early game by using Burnout for the movement speed to quickly catch up to you enemy followed by a Twin Bite, and if they are still alive, follow up with Flame Breath to get the last hit.

By level 6 Shyvana becomes a real threat for ganks in mid with her ultimate to knock up the enemy for a bit of a distraction. Also, it is very effective as an escape mechanism and great way to save your teammates if you want to.

Items

Start with a Doran's Blade and from there build Madred's Razor. After you have enough, buy wriggles lantern for a sufficient amount of both life steal and armor. Later in the game you can choose to trade this in for The Bloodthirster if you desire to do so. Buy Mercury Treads for reduced CC times. After getting the life steal and boot, start building either Frozen Mallet or Trinity Force. Personally, I start building Trinity Force and get Zeal first for more movement speed and faster hit times for more life steal. After this I build the frozen mallet and then get Atma's Impaler to make the 3k health into attack damage. After this, if there is still time use the remaining time and money to build Warmong's Armor for more health and damage.

Farming

Shyvana is one of the best farmers because of her Burnout ability. Early game this can give you the advantage because it can give a lot of chance to get the last hit on minion kills, granting you with more gold. Which is why Burnout is the first thing I max out.
