Short but sweet explanation

This build focuses on Shyvana's Q which makes her next attack hit twice and sated devourer's Passive Phantom Hit: Every second basic attack will trigger a phantom attack, applying on-hit effects twice. Perform and auto attack, Phantom Hit procs on next attack, press q to make next attack hit twice, Phantom Hit procs and performs Q for a second time, then finish off with your next attack. Double Q effects go off. With this in mind, we rush for Devourer, evolve it to Stated Devourer via Large Monster kills in the jungle and build attack speed for quicker auto attacks. Build High AD output items for strong auto attacks and lifesteal for sustain.

Common Goals with this is to proc Q twice and follow up with the attack of your choice. (AA = Auto Attack)

AA > Q (Phantom Hit Procs Q twice) > AA = 4 attacks back to back. W and auto attack while Q is on cooldown and repeat.

It's auto attack reliant. Therefore I build attack speed to get this effect off as many times as possible. The rest of the build is for sustain. There's a combination of AD Dps items with Lifesteal and a MR build for games where an AP champ is carrying.
