Introduction

Shyvana is a pretty *tough to kill* melee champion.With the right build you can carry and tank at the same time.In this build i will show you how to do it easily.
This is my first guide so don't say "it sucks" and don't downvote before you try it.If you are not going to try it just don't vote...

Runes

The runes are focused on helping your jungle and makes you a bit tanky late game.

Mark - Flat AD

Seal - 3 Flat AS and 6 armor per level

Glyph - Flat AS

Quintessence - 1 armor per level and 2 damage per level

Masteries

Take 17/2/11

The reason i don't take 21/0/9 is that the utility mastery and greed are very usefull on jungler.And the 4 armor will help you survive longer in the jungle.
Shyvana is a hybrid type,so taking Archaic Knowledge and sunder is important for your early domination.

Items

Cloth and 5 pots vs Vampiric Scepter
Starting with clot and 5 pots is the better choice,cause:
-You wont need to base for longer.
-You will be able to gank on full hp.
-And apparently the minions will deal less damage to you.
After your first back up be sure to pick boots/vampiric scepter.On the 2nd back up you should pick wriggle's and phage.On your third back up pick the brutalizer and sheen.After that pick Heart of Gold.
Trinity vs Frozen Mallet
Trinity is the better choice,cause it gives AS,MS,AD,Ap,Sheen effect,slow,a bit hp and mana.
Finish your GhostBlade and make gunblade.Buy Randuin's Omen/Force of Nature(sell heart of gold if u buy Force of Nature)and wit's end.
When you have full build,sell wriggle's and buy BloodThirster.If u don't feel enough tanky sell ghost blade and make sure to have both randuin's omen and force of nature.

Skill Sequence

Maxing a skill as earlier as you can is a good choise 2,but the other abilities will be useless(except ulti)and with 1 spell u can't do much,your ganks wont succed.Taking Q in the start,cause it have low cd and is good for the golems.Your W does pretty much damage per second and gives movement speed,so you can use it to move arround the map.E is also useful for jungling cause of it's armor reduction.

Summoner Spells

What else can you take with smite?

Flash - With Flash you can easily from battles that u can't win even if yi chases you. -> √

Ghost - you don't really need ghost,W gives you enough speed and with trinity + Ghostblade u can outrun even rammus(with fine tanky build). -> X

Cleanse - If you play a ranked game and the enemy team have many CC's cleanse would be a good idea. -> √

Ignite - I can't think of any use for this summoner spell.If u gank a lane and your mates are good,there won't be any need of this and there will be atleast 1 of them with ignite. -> X

Exhaust - It could be helpful early game cause of it's slow,or if you play vs trynda,yi and you don't have teemo and any cc's. - √

Any other summoner spells are totally useless in my opinion.

-Good Surviveability
-Does much Splash Damage
-Can Transform into Dragon
-Can easily escape ganks

Cons

-Doesn't have any cc's
-cannot fly

10.Give blue to malz...ehh to some caster

etc...

Team Work

If u don't have other tanks AWAYS jump first with your ULTIMATE!Castt your W,E,keep your Q for Malz...eh the casters.If some of your squishy allies is focused...eh u can't really help him without CC's.Anyway,remember that you must TRANSFORM into DRAGON in team fights.
