Just throwing in some comments:

Quoted:
"Every Tristana player agrees though that you need at least 1 level of Explosive Shot at level 2, and at least 2 levels of Explosive Shot before you hit level 6."

We don't really care about the 2nd level of explosive shot, we just don't want to put it in Q because it's a waste of mana that early.

I think your runes are fine, i prefer more hp but your call. I don't recommend starting with boots and 3 hp pots. In most cases you won't need the speed.

Quoted:
leaguesdf said "Ull be bot with ur support, fighting another AD carry"

I see this often lately but I do not understand the perk. If laning phase Trist does not hold an advantage over other range AD carries while bot....unless...the support is helping both ur hp and mana. I'm not saying I don't see the advantage of having a diff champ in mid i'm just saying I dont see the perk of trist in the side lane unless ur getting hp and mana from the support.

Quoted:
Mooninites said "Doran's Blade stacking, while effective on some champions, is not as effective on Tristana."

This is ok to do, I like doran's shield as my first item but having 2 doran items is fine. Now if you are in a side lane with a support then the 2nd doran's item would be very optional.

Quoted:
"Your masteries are a bit off. The 2 points in Offensive Mastery are not ideal especially considering Explosive Shot's passive makes killing minions so easy. The 2 points would be better spent in Aclarity, although they will be wasted near end-game when you reach the AS cap. I'm also not a huge fan of Good Hands, because we are trying to maximize our lane presence and lane dominance and it really doesn't help Tristana do this, which is why it can be better spent."

Speed mastery is so minor that it's actually ok to get offensive mastery if you want, it really is a very minor mastery. When you switch to ignite and you eventually will then get a point in the ignite mastery.

Quoted:
"Ignite is significantly better at all phases of the game. It can be used on the run and deals more damage than Explosive Shot, especially considering it's true damage. While Exhaust is an option generally ignite+flash or ignite+teleport are viewed as better options than running Exhaust."

He's right here. Ignite is better. You may feel that 1on1 exhaust is superior but thats situational. Bottom line is ignite will net you more kills. I can't count the number of times ignite has finished off a player as he escaped. Once you know how much dmg you will do with ur burst combo and include ignite you will be able to get significantly more kills in laning phase.

Quoted:
LameoGamer said Black Cleaver is a great item for tristana, even when going for 2 phantom dancers as long as you don't go for berserker greaves. the attack cap barely reaches the max cap with rapid fire if 2 phantom dancer and 1 black cleaver is all you have.

i'm quite wary with going berserker greaves in a game because merc treads are so much better in terms of utility. many people, even pros, are favoring berserkers early and selling them for merc treads.

doran's AFTER boots is sort of counter productive, imo. doran's helps early game, but is useless to buy mid/late game as your mid/late needs B.F. Sword if you're going to do damage at all that late.

as for your guide, i suggest you reformat a bit as the constant icons throughout your walls of text makes it seem very cluttered

Everything LameoGamer is correct. I do like berserkers but later selling them for some other movement speed item is very viable.

I'm not a pro league of legends player but thats because I do not play other champions. I have massive amounts of experience with Trist though.

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind then. Mostly, I only mention the Doran's Blade as kind of a "Oh no, my lane's not going too well" kind of thing if you didn't start with it and the CS got denied. I agree with you on Berserker's. I find myself using Merc Treads against better team compositions, and only really use Berserker's against teams with low CC.

EDIT: Cleaned up ;D

I have yet to even look at any of the recent guides in the last few days. Thanks for the heads up though. I appreciate your feedback.

this guide is inaccurate on a few levels.

1. Doran's Blade is generally accepted as the best starting item choice on Tristana. It better enables her to trade blows early game which is crucial to her laning. Doran's gives extra health and extra damage which makes you significantly tougher and allows your harass to be signficantly more effective.

Doran's Blade stacking, while effective on some champions, is not as effective on Tristana. Main reason being, once Tristana reaches level 6 she her ult enables her to draw blood very easily. However, without the extra damage this makes it noticably more difficult. Aside from that, going back to stack Doran's Blades is counter productive if we are trying to draw blood as soon as we hit level 6. Especially considering Tristana generally runs without Experience masteries in the Utility tree, we would actually lag behind the opponent more so than normal.

Your masteries are a bit off. The 2 points in Offensive Mastery are not ideal especially considering Explosive Shot's passive makes killing minions so easy. The 2 points would be better spent in Aclarity, although they will be wasted near end-game when you reach the AS cap. I'm also not a huge fan of Good Hands, because we are trying to maximize our lane presence and lane dominance and it really doesn't help Tristana do this, which is why it can be better spent.

Runes are actually spot on. I tend to think running atleast 1 or 2 health quints is beneficial, but 3 ArPen quints would still work.

While you do mention that Ignite is another possibility, I noticed that you said Explosive Shot has "ignite built in" which is somewhat true. They share commonality in the sense that they reduce healing by 50% but that's about it. For instance I could say Rocket Jump is like a built-in Exhaust because it slows the enemy, which is true in some regards, but i digress. Ignite is significantly better at all phases of the game. It can be used on the run and deals more damage than Explosive Shot, especially considering it's true damage. While Exhaust is an option generally ignite+flash or ignite+teleport are viewed as better options than running Exhaust.

I also disagree with your skill priority. You admit that Explosive Shot allows Tristana to harass safely and you also admit that it is extremely effective in early levels yet you choose to only level it up twice until you max it out last, which doesn't make sense in regards to the way that you speak about it in your guide. You also admit in your guide that a lot of Tristana players initiate with Rocket Jump too early, which further proves my point that in the context of your guide, leveling Explosive Shot last doesn't make sense if you don't recommend harassing with Rocket Jump, but leveling it up first. I've heard the argument for it, i personally disagree, but I can't discount it. However you need to refine your guide to better explain why you choose to level up Rocket Jump over Explosive Shot.

Items: they're pretty good, I recommend boots and zeal before IE, but that's a personal choice. Generally, Black Cleaver isn't viewed as a great item for Tristana. 2 Phantom Dancers is widely viewed as better, not only for the attack speed, but the bonus crit and the movement speed are very effective on Tristana. The problem with running Black Cleaver in addition to these 2 items is you go significantly over the AS cap. The problem with running only one Phantom Dancer is you generally won't have enough Crit to make your IE as effective as it can be, and you'll lose a significant amount of movement speed which is crucial against other melee units with gap closers and/or Phantom Dancer(s).

I won't vote up or down on this guide, because it would be a bit unprofessional for me to vote on someone else's Tristana guide only to legitimatize my own, but I will say a guide, pretty much identical to this one, came out like 2 days ago, I'm certainly not saying your plagiarizing, because you did give credit to 2 individuals that had more in-depth guides, but just be cautious.

Anyway good luck, you can take what I say to a grain of salt if you like

Thanks for the input! The reasoning behind the flat MR runes is for the early game boost. The MR will scale greater into late game, yes. However, getting enough levels to make them better than the flat ones will take a while, and by that time, the laning phase is over.

I will definitely make use of the icons. I would have earlier, but I wasn't quite sure how to make the icons without making them obnoxiously big. Thank you, I will take everything you said into consideration.

=)

The build is great, i agree with all, mastries, items, Runes, summoner spells. all are great.
I just have a few things to say, that u should consider:
- Quints of flat AD, are best for auto attacking champs. Consider taking them. The armor pen are only better for late game imo, but because in almost every game u will get , they will just make it less effective anyway.
-I know u wrote that Banshee's Veil is a great item, but i think u should also put it in the build, after Phantom. Its a core item on any ranged AD carry, no matter who.
- Getting blue flat MR runes makes no sense to me. Per lvl are much better. Ull be bot with ur support, fighting another AD carry... u won't recive a lot of AP damage. On the other hand, Per lvl are much more useful: Any carry greatest fear is getting 2 shoted by the enemy AP carry in a late game team fight...
-Ur guide is too short. Add more chapters, explain about laning, eam fights... u know just make it more informative. Its good, but too short.

-Most important: Ur guide is so boring to read, im gonna die if i keep reading :D But now for real, its boring as ****. U need colors, pics, icons, stuff like that.
Go in mobafre to the Tools section, click on "Guide help". There u will found great ways o make ur guide better.
Here is the most simpe trick. How to make icons. U put: (icon=whatever thing u wanna show with an icon size=24) the higher the number, the bigger the icon will be.
To make it work, change the "whatever thing u wanna show with an icon" to, lets say flash. change () for [] and it will yield:

Good luck with ur guide! It has great potential, but need some work :) Btw i +1
