Love it. Love it. Love it. Can't say much more than that at the moment. I've been playing around with quite a few champs, tanks, dps, support but none have really had me hooked other than Singed. And that is thanks to this guide, I'm still working on the Quints, but it's just so.... great! I've been called a cheat thrice in the last 5 games, so therefore this guide must be doing something right ;)

I play singed more then any other champ, I like your guide it describes what a singed needs to do. I would like to see Rylies crystal scepter in the preferred items though.

hi fella,

singed's been my main since a few months and i own almost every ranked with him, since i started too look for some guides to perfect my gameplay, i looked on this and actually i must say, i did everything like you except the masteries. i maxed the utility tree now and played a few games and have to say...THIS **** IS KICKASS!! so thx for the hint!

actually i think the most powerful point about singed is, that people have problems countering him and won't calculate his poison damage well.

cheerz!

I can't talk about rated games, but at least in normal games the amount of kills I get where people try to gank and I have a whole team running after me and I get a double kill due to poison is surprising. I'm not sure if that's down to Singed being good or them being bad and not thinking about the poison and just an "easy kill".

I have never once got a RoA with Singed and very rarely lost with him, but bear in mind I did only play about five games during free week.

However, I found a Warmogs to be great with Singed as it just has such a good synergy with FoN and thornmail. After those three items you have hit a high level of resistances with great HP and HP5. While you're losing out on the ability power, you will destroy any AD carry in the game while being bulkier than you were with a RoA.

Also, you may want to put something in your guide about the fact that fling disrupts spells, os if they have say a katarina for example, you should save the fling for when she tries to death lotus. Might sound obvious, but I've seen singe's (Is that a word? 0.o) trying to run away from her or nunu's ult instead of just flinging them.

I understand that many people don't like Rylais. I think that's great that you chose not to take it in your build, however, I feel that some of your arguments against it are weak. I'm going to be comparing this build to Dyrus' which I follow. Your main points are:

-Expensive. (I consider rylais to be no less of a tanking item than a RoA. RoA, with time, will surpass rylais by about 300 hp including the passive bonuses from mana. I tend to get RoA anyway later in the game, and start off by rushing a catalyst. I just finish the RoA a bit later when the level-up bonus is wearing off in usefulness.)

-You are more likely to get chased and do more damage without Rylais. (Usually, if people are dumb enough to chase a TANK with poison trail on, then you should be winning anyway, Rylais or not. Also, it seems that you are considering purely defensive play. Covering a lane in poison will slow down and help you trap runners and other high priority targets. If they get stuck in your poison and get slowed, they'll have a harder time getting out of the poison as well. A slow in a teamfight is great too, and your job as a tank is to save your squishier members. A slow definitely helps in that.)

-The AP is negligible. (But the slow is not, and that's what you're getting Rylais for as well as HP.The same can be said about RoA. RoA offers 300 more hp in exchange for a slow. I'll take the slow over some hp and mana any day. The slow can also help in mitigation anyway. Is 300 hp really sacrificing all that much tankiness in exchange for the utility that a slow will bring?

-There are better tank items. (And there are better tank items than RoA as well, and we still take RoA/Rylais anyway.)

I love the guide, I just think Rylais is extremely good on singed. Most of my comparisons are Rylais to RoA because you get the items at similar times and they are both similar in offerings of HP/AP, which are the important stats on the items.

What it all boils down to is, I just feel that 300 HP + A lot of mana (that requires 10 minutes of build up time) is worth trading for a slow on your poison trail and more effective stats until a few minutes pass by on the RoA.

Keep up the good work!

Man you forgot something way to important... in ranked game farm to get that Giant Belt 1100 gold is way to much and you don't have any mana to keep farming, when you star with RoA you farm you way to Catalyst and you are good to lvl 11 in hp and mana to farm your way to RoA, also you don't note that RoA gives the capacity to stay in your lane and never return period. with rylay you don't have the mana to harass and thats where singed excel in top lane.

After Roa you NEED armor or MP, Rylay only give you hp and a slow.. you already have a slow one of the best, 75% slow in lvl 13 it's unstoppable and with no armor or mp even with a high pool HP you are going to get raped, all ad carry have armor pen runes, and all ap cham have magic pen runes, without the mp from force of nature and the armor from frozen hearth or omen you are **** again good xin or annies.

Remember 4000k singed with 50 mr and armor suck compared with a 2800 hp singed with 160 mr and 140 armor.
