Well, thank you for your compliment. Your guide is very good as well and I don't question much except those couple of mastery points.

It just seems to me that making the primary defensive stat that you build 4% more effective seems very strong.

If your singed only has 2000 hp (fairly early game) then this would give you 80 more hp. Even one third of that is 26.7 (1/3 juggernaut)

In order for block to be worth it they have to auto attack you 8 times since the last time you were at full hp. Which may or may not be plausible based entirely on what kind of champion you are up against. Against a melee caster, such as Garen, it's highly unlikely. Against a Nidalee, highly probable.

Safeguard has been said to be the worst mastery point in the game... Tower mitigation is achieved by juggling turret aggro. Turret damage is negligible if this is done properly, and deadly if not. Regardless if you are taking 90% damage or 100%.

Good hands very very rarely will affect the outcome of the game... The bounty given is the big downside of death early on, and the opportunity given by having a numbers advantage allowing them to complete and objective. And late game it's not going to make a difference if you are dead 40 seconds of 50 seconds when it takes 30 seconds to end the game...

And reinforced armor is only useful against champions who build crit. Against an ADC such as Graves or Ezreal its probable that the whole opposing team doesn't have 1% crit among all of them...

The skill is only helpful against crit focused carries. I mean if a champion just has a trinity force or something then you are talking only part of their damage as auto attacks in the first place...lets say 50%, and only 20% of those auto attacks crit, and this mitigates 10% of that crit damage. So for over all mitigation you are talking .5 x .33 x .1 = .0165 or 1.65% damage mitigation assuming they have 20% crit chance and no crit damage built. And that's only against 1 out of 5 enemy champions... so .33% total damage mitigation (very rough estimate). And that's assuming that none of their auto attack damage is on hit stuff that can't crit (BotRK).

Obviously, if its someone rushing IE + PD + SS then the mastery is very strong...but a very small percentage of ADCs opt for that build these days...

Mh, looks like your right about tough skin indeed. I didn't realize the difference between Minions ans Monsters, thanks for that ! I often take a few jungle camps but anyway, Perseverance could be better then... I'll fix it.

But Block and Good Hands, I'm 100% sure these masteries are absolutely awesome. My informations about the masteries come mostly from myself, that's why I'm open to discuss about it. For each point I try to ask myself : "Could this point save my life or make a big difference ? Is there sth in this tier which could be better ?" ; for Good hands for example I already saved a few sec in late game, and saved my Nexus coz these few sec. But when I get slained late game, 200 health are definitely not a big deal, especially for 3 points.

About Block, well every single champion in this game uses auto attack sometimes. If I take, mmh... Let's say I'm gonna take 10 AA per minutes (I often trade against melee), Block + Unyielding will absorb sth like 50 less dmg per minute. It's basically a health potion every three minutes. Not that bad when the other points in these tiers are not that good, or already taken. The reason why I don't rly like stacking health is, well, I got enough health with my items anyway, what I need is to mitigate the damages. Late game, I have enough health, 250 points won't help me to survive... If the enemies have enough to kill me it's not a big deal imo. Do you often see someone run away with 250 HP after 40 min game ? I don't.

Btw I just realized you wrote the Dominion Alistar guide I read a few dayz ago, it's a nice one :)

You do realize that tough skin only works on MONSTERS.

That's jungle camps ONLY.

Jungle camps = MONSTERS
Lane creeps = MINIONS

It's a total waste of 2 points to put points into tough skin as a laner.

Also, block is utterly useless unless your lane opponent is an auto attack.

It's decent against Kennen, Nidalee, and a few others who mainly auto attack poke at the beginning, but since its a flat 3 damage its useless beyond the early game.

I don't know where you are getting your information about these masteries...but its mostly false...

Like I explain it in the masteries chapter, good hands and block are both some of the best masteries in the game ; three points to get 200 HP ? You won't have 5k hp before the late game and late game when the ADC AA you for 500 dmg per hit, 200 HP are nothing imo :)

Thanks for the feedback anyway ;)

Not getting juggernaut on Singed is incredibly foolish.

It's not unheard of for a Singed to reach 5k hp.

4% of 5k is 200 hp. That's something like several hundred gold worth of stats for 3 mastery points...

Especially when you have things like good hands, safe guard, and block that you could swap...

I have been looking at Singed for a long time and I really like his "I am going to do whatever I want and you can't do anything" style. I think there are too many "Coming soon"s, but everyone is eager to get their guide out, I know! Overall, your guide is good in explaining everything clearly. I defintely think the lane match-up guide will be important. Singed is a great counter-pick. Knowing how to play against certain lane opponents is crucial. I suggest going pretty in-depth for the matchups.
Overall, a great guide and, I hope, will get even better.
