You really need to try out Boots of Speed at the start instead of Sapphire Crystal. I used to do the same thing as you but realized that the boots at level 1 are far more beneficial. The Sapphire Crystal only gives you 50 more HP but the boots really help you grab someone and fling them. That is a really nice harassment believe it or not.

The boots actually in all reality make you more tanky than the Sapphire Crystal because of the soul purpose that you can harass and not take harassment yourself. Also if you have Boots of Speed and your jungler comes to gank your lane they will thank you!

Well, Isley, I know it seems better, but as I noticed in top lane in 3v3, i run oom TERRIBLY fast when i start with boots. But the reason I take them there is because mobility is simply king. However, in 5v5, your core ability, that you start with, has the exorbitant mana cost of 100 MANA. That's a LOT. And if you ever want to use it without taking a huge chunk of your mana, you better start with a mana crystal. With runes and masteries, you're faster than pretty much anyone at level 1 anyways, so why not pack on a little sustain and a quicker catalyst to boot?

Just pointing out. Rylai's is horrible on Singed. You don't want to slow people with your slow. You want them to believe they can catch you when they can't.

A lot of people believe that but your job is not to do that to people. Your job is to get in there slow people as much as possible in team fights so your team can pick up the kills. There is way more than that though but I'm not going to go into details.

No competent player will EVER think he can catch singed long enough to get killed by his poison after a long period of time. GFood people won't let it get to a situation where singed has to be chased down. Even then, if you're caught without your ult or ghost, you NEED to have something to fall back on. Rylai's is simply the best item on singed.
The slow is applied on the dot from Poison Trail, so it lasts as long as the poison does. What does that mean? It's reaaaaallly long. It's sp good it's stupid.
Look at it this way; you could either slow their entire team by 15% for 5 seconds EVERY TEAMFIGHT, or catch one person every couple games because they're stupid enough to think that they could ever catch you. Honestly, I can count the number of times I've been chased long enough for someone to lose 1/2 their life and die because of it on one hand.
PEOPLE ARE NOT STUPID. THEY DO NOT THINK THEY CAN CATCH A SINGED. THEY KNOW NOT TO CHASE HIM FOR A LONG TIME.

Really great guide.But, i don't think that Will of The Ancients is a bad item on Singed, i bought one in my last game, and the Spell Vamp made me escape from death a few times with that +21 going up on my head, especially when i ulted.
