Just started playing singe and was wondering if it'd be a good idea to consider switching Archangels with RoA since I always have a problem with mana regen. Considering his passive (empowered bulwark) it seems like it'd be pretty good mana -> HP/AP and the mana regen that I usually need with him, more AP but less HP.
The health on Rod of Ages is key on Singed - his ult gives resistances, which are great, but are useless without the corresponding health. Apart from that it's not a terrible idea to try, but I definitely wouldn't go for it in a serious game.

haha idk, but i responded to your first comment and then you just went ahead and said "nice build" again :P
I read through the guide and gave it a try just to justify the means. I was up against a heavy harass nunu whos ice ball we all hate. I purchased the philosopher's stone which did prove fairly helpful earlier on in the game, however it could not be used to form any useful advanced items for singed and is fairly costly. Once you have substantial health and mana it also becomes fairly useless. RoA is a timed item so you might want to put that before your boots so that it can max out much quicker and as a substitute for the health and mana regeneration you could substitute it for some slight magic resist or armor which is much cheaper and can be included in singed's tanking items.
Edit: I would like to remove my downvote. I still stand by my RoA and im glad you agree that the early push is somewhat substantial. I also disagree with the Archangels staff and you can see why on your build. +Rep for being so polite
hey look, just a couple weeks later they change RoA to include Catalyst's passive :P so there is no longer any argument.
