Introduction

This build is based heavily off of MobaFire Scion Crit Tank by pileofpuke I found that the items were a bit expensive and that it did not fit my role of being a unstoppable tank. This spec is designed to take the basic essence of that guild and to build Sion into a tank that will soak for your teammates. Updates will be periodic and by no means is the guild finished.

Pros/Cons

Pros:
Large HP pool
Good resistances

Cons:
Lack of damage till late game

Summoner Spells

This was a hard part to decide. I waffle between using Ghost and Exhaust or Ghost and Flash. Depending on group makeup and CC abilities choose which one would be correct for the group composition. Flash would be better if you are lite on DPS or CC abilities. The last thing you want to do is to drop in combat. Exhaust is good for a more DPS centric Sion or one who has a good cast of support DPS and CC.

In the end choose which feels like a better choice for you play style.

Masteries

Masteries are directly from the Sion build I linked in the intro. I feel like these are the best for a tanktastic Sion. Will write more later on this.

Skill Sequence

It is imperative that you get stun first. I know, Enrage is awesome... but listen. If you do not get the stun first you will not get it till level 4. By then they might have already ganked you or tired and you had to go back to regen. Sion's stun is not only good for stun bombing a target but also as a early level getaway. Stun frist then hammer threw Enrage. Remember this guide is for survivability early game. Late game soaking hits and giving a fair amount out.

Runes

Yellow and blue runes were a no-brainer. Getting you dodge and magic resist up is huge. The tough part comes in when choosing red runes. I have decided to go with speed because of Sion's slow attack speed. Later on, after the Last Whisper, we will get a boost in attack speed that will help us drop people when we have our stun and exhaust on our target.

Items

This was tough for me. My core items are Ninja Boots, Force of Nature, and Warmong's Armor. From here I wanted to create a decent base of DPS items that would help Sion's natural strengths. Using a Phantom Dancer will give much needed speed, crit, and attack speed. This is your core DPS item. The final DPS item is a Atma's Impaler. This item is a great tank item and will help out on getting big hits. My final DPS item is actually the first one we pick up. It's the cheapest of all three but It will help us end game to get big hits off the Atma's Impaler.

My current build for getting items is as follows: Ninja Boots, Warmog's Armor, Last Whisperer, Force of Nature, Phantom Dancer, and then Atma's Impaler

Conclusion

I hope that this build helps out the Sion tanks who don't wanna be AP. Please leave comments so that I may update and get this to be the best possible Sion tank spec.
