Intro

This is my first guide, so rating and commenting is appreciated.
Fiddlesticks, the Harbringer of Doom. Caster, teamfighter, WONDERFUL CARRY, and general RAPIST.
I will be prioritizing on drain in this build, as Dark Wind is too mana costly and does little damage compared to drain. That being said, we will no longer need clarity OR golem, as long as we have one mana potion early game.

How to Play - EarlyGame

Early Game:
Start with an Amplifying Tome and Mana Potion. The AP bonus will be EXTREMELY essential to your early game. Remember those times when Annie got away with just 40 more health? That won't be happening anymore. Don't play overly offensive - this wastes mana far too quickly. Instead, be sort of passive. Dodge skillshots, attempt to last hit. Don't take last hitting too seriously, you'll get gold later. When you have terrify, if you have enough health, move to the side so as to prevent minion collision and run straight to the enemy champion. More often than not, they will not be expecting this, letting you get a little close. Use your bread and butter, Terrify+Drain, and wipe half or more of their health. Be wary of silences / stuns, however. NOTE: Drain goes through Vlad's sanguine pool. Because of the previous steps, your drain will be much more efficient in mana used/damage dealt. Doing this also eliminates the need for clarity. I mean, is a half second drain really worth it? If you are not doing well, don't be afraid to drain minions, especially the tanks. This is an excellent source of HP, and gives your minions an edge in the never-ending fight for the turret. Proceed to level 6 and get ult. If mid is already dead, help top or bot. If you are absolutely sure you can't kill mid with the terrify-drain, let them push to the middle of the lane. Go into any patch of brush, and ULT in. Make sure they don't see you ult.If they are out of range because of this, flash and let them take the full force of your ult. Terrify-Drain while doing so.
