It's very cheap and solves the mana problem for the entire game, it makes BB spamable while Ricochet is on. It's a throwaway item later. Definately a good item to get to know her. I used to buy Meki pendant first too. But once you start mastering her Spell Shield. Its better to do more damage as soon as possible and focus on last hitting minions and harass with Ricochet. After like mid game, mana issues are somewhat over. Focussed on DPS, she will just AA through wave after wave. Mana will regen fast enough before the next wave. As for harassing. True, you can harass more. But it gets old and enemies can fairly dodge her Boomerang Blade You may call me mistress, but only from your knees. I have been reading some of these strategies and manamune seems to be overlooked. I tend to go for it straight away due to the mana regen and the extra damage. The regen may be only a small amount but the near constant mana pool increase basically means that you will not have mana issues mid to late game. Its a cheap easy item to get and you can jump from ~70 dmg to ~110 at lvl 5 or 6 if you are mid. I tend to play a support/pusher Sivir and usually go Manamune -> Beserkers Greaves -> Starks Fervor -> Frozen Mallet -> (situational item depending on what I am fighting) -> Banshees' Veil. Its not ment for huge numbers but I can push easily without returning to base oom all the time EDIT - Did another game to test but my dmg actually went to ~120 not 110. Was top without a partner so got it lvl 8 which is a bit late for me. EDIT - at lvl 18 with this maxed (which is so easy to do) it would put your mana pool over 2k and with the 2% mana to AD that is the same as a extra 40 dmg. so the manamune ends up 60 AD + 7 mp/5 which isnt the worst item out there The aptly named Sir Not appearing in this film.
