Kratom on North America server. Skarner is VIABLE.
This is the best jungle item for Skarner because it slows enemies and grants you movement speed when you gank.
I love Cinderhulk because it allows you to become extremely tanky while still helping you with wave clearing the jungle.
The 6.11 Trinity Force update made it a clear choice for Skarner now. It now has 20% cooldown reduction and more attack speed. The passive Rage helps Skarner stick to enemies and Spellblade works well with Skarner's Crystal Slash.
Dead man's helps you move fast when ganking or trying to catch up to someone. Skarner has no gap closers and the movement speed from this item is very beneficial. 50 Armor for additional tankiness and 500 Health works well with Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk.
90% of the time I get these. This helps with crowd control when trying to run towards enemy champion and running away.
I get these whenever the enemy does not have much ability power or only have light crowd control.
Cinderhulk + Trinity Force Explained
I rush Stalker's Blade first for the early ganks and slows. After I get Stalker's blade, I get Sheen after Stalker's Blade because by the time you get Sheen, you will be level 6 and start ganking. Sheen will help with clearing the large jungle monsters faster due to the Spellblade passive and will allow you to do more damage to the enemy when ganking. Bami's Cinder is after Sheen because now that you have Spellblade to clear the small camps. Stinger is purchased next because it increases your attack speed, allowing you to use your Crystal Slash more often and grants you +10% cooldown reduction for your Impale. After getting Stinger you finish your Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk then Phage into Trinity Force.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage[x9] Auto Attacks and Crystal Slash is stronger. Crystal Spires give enough attack speed.
Greater Seal of Scaling Health[x9] Scales with Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction[x6] 10% Cooldown Reduction works great with Trinity Force's 20% cooldown.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist[x3] Because Magic Resist
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed[x1] Helps reduce Crystal Slash's cooldown.
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed[x2] Helps catch up to enemies because you don't have a gap closer.
I typically use this when ganking. It can also be combined with Crystalline Exoskeleton to drag a carry back to your team extremely quick. I prefer this over Flash because the cooldown comes back up quicker and I feel like it helps with ganking more.
