Skarner Build Guide by bitpik

I really liked the build and I will definitely use it. I am new to Skarner and he is one of my favourite characters. I used to love teemo, and then tryndamere, and then garen, but skarner was always my goal to save for. I think people shouldn't troll here, if don't like his build post your own!

i have try it, but didnt read the whole guide, but the build works best for me. The best comment i got was "skarner does 0 dmg but still, noone cant beet him OMG >_<" so i play skarner now prety mutch, so thanks its a big help =)

What's about Nashor's Tooth rush.

It give more Attack Speed than Wit's, but don't give any MR, but that shouldn't matter, because it's a "4th item slot", and we will get an other magic resist item.
It give Mana regen, 55 ap which is useful, and ... 25 Cdr !!

This is awesome, spamming Shield, Fracture and Crystal Slash in combinaison with the passive would be awesome.

So why no Nashor's Tooth ?

when I first got Skarner I thought he was a useless champion but after a while I started using this build and I got 5/2/11 and I was saving my team from dying with my slow thanks for an awesome build man! P.S. thanks for pointing out Skarner is better as an offtank :)

The build itself is actually pretty good, but imho you could refine it a bit to counter some cons of him:

Start with a Regrowth Pendant is clear, since you're going to solotop. Farm, farm, farm. Recall and buy Sheen + Boots of Speed. You damage will start getting noticable now.
Then go back to lane and farm, farm, farm. Now comes what i'd do different: Instead of getting Mercury's Treads and Philosopher's Stone, i'd get Eleisa's Miracle and Boots of Swiftness.

This does...
a) Improve your chasing possibilities by A LOT, especially with your W you'll hit over 500 movement speed.

b) Give you more Life/Mana regen. Skarner is hungry in every part of the game. With this he'll get about 50 Liferegen and 35 manaregen which gives him endless sustain. Aditionally, you won't lose your 35% tenacity, since the tenacity items got buffed to 35%.

c) Lower your magic resist by a very small amount. You'll get Wit's End pretty soon so imho it doesn't really matter.
