Skarner is a Tanky fighter. He is played top lane or jungle. I only play him in jungle because he got good ganks after level 6. Skarner is not a populair champion. But he is a good champion. After his rework we hope to see him more in the field of justice. The problem is he doesn't fit in the current meta, but there is no rule that we should follow the meta. When i play him jungle i always end up with a positive score.

He is easy to learn. In early game jungling you have to becareful and gank when you are best positioned. Only after level 6 you can do some insane ganks. The main problem is you have to be positioned good before ganking good.

Lore
According to the lore Skarner is one of the Brackern an old spieces blessed with element power. They use crystal to defend themselves. Skarners birthplace is the crystal scar. When the war started the brackern dug themselves underground and hide until the war was over. The woke one of the spieces up, it was skarner. He now plays in the field of justice.

When you buy attaskspeed you can get all your cooldowns reset with just autoattacking a minion wave or a jungle camp.

This will be your main jungle abilitie. You wil proc up to 3 stacks then you get more attack speed and damage. When you gank you can stack 1 Q on minions so you get more attackspeed.

When you chase you will use this for the extra movementspeed or in teamfight you use this as your shield.

This wil be your engage when you gank. With this slow you can get near enough to your enemy for ulting


Impale

Its handy to impale an enemy and drag it in your own team. If you chase an you can impale your target drag him away from his escape route on the last moment of your ult you better turn around so when the ult stops you are beter positiond.

When you jungle you it is best to follow this line

The wricht camp and golem camp are situational to do, they are very handy and also give xp.
As jungler you also need to watch the timers of blue and red closely. It is most likely to give your second blue buff at your mid laner. But if you benefit more of it, or the midlaner dies constantly, its best to keep him for yourself as skarner you can have mana probs.
